I have 2 of these. Nice sounding speakers in the correct box ! Tried a sealed box and wasn't happy. Decided to try a ported box, 1.5 cubic ft of airspace per sub and they sound like different speakers !! Ported box is the way to go !

CT Sounds, bravo! The quality, sound, and hit is absolutely amazing for an 8" shallow mount. Have a Kia Telluride with 3 10" full size subs in the back (other brand), but the distance makes it impossible to get good lows and a hard it. I put one of these CT Sounds 8" right under my seat, and Wham-O! I feel ever kick drum hit. My music now not only has amazing sound, but it has an amazing feel. This 8" makes so you have a total experience. And just so passengers aren't neglected, I put one in the center row too, so they get the same experience. I hope my stellar review doesn't make them jack the price, because for what you get, they're a steal! ... show more

Worked great while it lasted. Wasn't clipped and was ran on good power. Was in a sealed stinger box for jeep wrangler bumping like I do daily only this day was really hot out and quit working its only 7 months old. Save your cash get better quality.
