this sub is amazing. 1.25cuft ported box with a true 800w rms @1 ohm. In a can am defender max lone star edition and it gets loud! This is coming from a old school 90s bass head. I would rate this 10 up with a single 12 solobaric l7. Wife's car runs one l7 on a 1600w kicker amp and i swear the 10 is louder just not as low. If space is limited this will be my budget go to sub! for the price who cares if it gets dunked in the water and does not survive. seems like a clean amp with extra power to spare is the way to go on this 10" sub. ... show more

Fits in 2016 Silverado crew cab box from q bomb 12 in I put them on a Rockford 500 watt amp for break in. These subs hit harder than a drunk stepfather. I’m a kicker guy typically a cvx guy or comp q but let me say this so far they slap. For a shallow to have this much hit at this price is a steal the sound quality is amazing instructions on the website were simple. Installed this single speaker in a sealed box. Paired with a CT 1000 watt@1ohm amp. It rocks, sounds leaps better than my previous speaker. Hits hard with no distortion.

Thought I would try one of these in place of my Skar VD-10. Quality is alright but the VD hits harder, sounded better and takes more power. The CT shallow is decent, but for hits application the Skar VD is a better choice.

I just installed these with a simple MRV-500 amp which is only half power but they still beat compared to the Alpine BassLine suns I had. Got them wired to a 2 ohm load so the amp is performing at its max. 2021 F-150 XLT. Rec 16 box that fits perfect under the back seat.

So I purchased these after my initial choice of speaker would fit my under seat box in my gladiator. Absolutely an impulse/cheap, sure fire fit purchase till I got something to fit my box. After installing them I’m not in nearly as big of a hurry to find a replacement. Very clear and clean bass. I had systems in the 90s I had way more money tied up in that weren’t this good. Being an 8” sub the bass is tight when needed for rock music but has enough boom for rap. I’ve got em on a 1200 watt bass amp with the gain at half and they’re trucking on strong. For $180 o don’t think you could do any better than these. Very impressed! ... show more

I would not recommend ct sound to anyone. I ran these for a couple days and they both cracked the exact same way. They sounded great, was actually surprised by the sound quality and volume. But ct needs to figure out some other material for their cones.

I was skeptical at first and hesitant to buy these subs, but I'm glad I did. Ive had them in now for a couple of weeks and I've had my amp turned down to break them in slowly. Im glad I did. They sound amazing for their slim size and are pretty loud. I have them in a box behind my seat that has .97 cubic feet of air space per speaker. Tonight as I was walking back to my truck from getting a drink in Circle K I could hear their windows vibrating from my subs. Made me smile. ... show more
