I had two 12-in kickers in a box in my 2010 Titan. I needed to reclaim some space and I built two separate boxes, one to contain all the amps and DSP. And one small sealed box for the sub. I wired it down to 1 ohm because this is a 2 ohm unit and my monoblock amp handles it just fine. This is a wonderful musical base and it actually sounds better than my two old 12s If you're in the market for something and you need something with a less deep profile would have a hard time recommending anything but this. So I purchased these after my initial choice of speaker would fit my under seat box in my gladiator. Absolutely an impulse/cheap, sure fire fit purchase till I got something to fit my box. After installing them I’m not in nearly as big of a hurry to find a replacement. Very clear and clean bass. I had systems in the 90s I had way more money tied up in that weren’t this good. Being an 8” sub the bass is tight when needed for rock music but has enough boom for rap. I’ve got em on a 1200 watt bass amp with the gain at half and they’re trucking on strong. I would not recommend ct sound to anyone. I ran these for a couple days and they both cracked the exact same way. They sounded great, was actually surprised by the sound quality and volume. But ct needs to figure out some other material for their cones.

this sub is amazing. 1.25cuft ported box with a true 800w rms @1 ohm. In a can am defender max lone star edition and it gets loud! This is coming from a old school 90s bass head. I would rate this 10 up with a single 12 solobaric l7. Wife's car runs one l7 on a 1600w kicker amp and i swear the 10 is louder just not as low. If space is limited this will be my budget go to sub! for the price who cares if it gets dunked in the water and does not survive. seems like a clean amp with extra power to spare is the way to go on this 10" sub. ... show more

I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JKU) Rubicon with the stock subwoofer enclosure. This speaker will not fit without trimming the subwoofer enclosure opening about 3/8" all the way around. Depth is fine. However, there isn't enough air space to generate solid bass. It isn't a speaker issue but an enclosure issue. More air space would definitely help this speaker deliver on bass. Good luck finding a protective grill for it, though. I reached out to CT Sounds directly asking for suggestions. They had none. Seems strange but, ok. I haven't found one that will fit yet. I took a photo of the issue. Other grills attach around the sub but there isn't space for that on the Jeep's enclosure. ... show more

Fits in 2016 Silverado crew cab box from q bomb 12 in I put them on a Rockford 500 watt amp for break in. These subs hit harder than a drunk stepfather. I’m a kicker guy typically a cvx guy or comp q but let me say this so far they slap. For a shallow to have this much hit at this price is a steal the sound quality is amazing instructions on the website were simple. I work a lot with subwoofers and had high expectation for these CT subs. They sound pretty good, handle an enormous amount of power. Def a high quality build...and quite heavy. However, the big disappointment is that they are power hungry. You'll need a lot low impedance power for these to keep up with others.
