The CT Sounds Hydro 10” Dual 2-Ohm Subwoofer has been an excellent addition to my system and has performed exactly the way I hoped it would. What impressed me most is the balance between output and sound quality. It delivers strong, controlled bass with good impact, but it doesn’t sound sloppy or exaggerated. With the system properly set up and tuned, the bass stays clean and defined while still having plenty of authority when the music calls for it. The build quality also feels very solid. The basket, surround, terminals, and overall construction all give the impression of a subwoofer designed to handle real-world use rather than simply look good on a spec sheet. The dual 2-ohm configuration also provides useful flexibility when planning amplifier load and wiring, which is especially helpful when building or upgrading a system. For a 10-inch subwoofer, the Hydro delivers an impressive amount of performance without requiring an oversized enclosure or giving up valuable space. It has been a very good combination of output, sound quality, and practicality. If you are looking for a well-built 10-inch subwoofer that can provide strong bass while remaining clean and controlled, the CT Sounds Hydro is very easy to recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars. I consider this a great value for my set up. They are in a sealed box and connected to 1200 w amp that drives them. I get compliments on the bass in the truck all of the time. These move some air! So far I am extremely happy with the CT Sounds subs.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would, I have video and email proof why this company is complete trash. If you can afford to and even if you can't I would not go with this company for your car audio needs. They have sent me two of these hydro 12 inch subwoofers that were blown right of the box and then sent me a third one which I sent video proof of me unboxing and testing with a multimeter showing it was also blown, and guess what they refused to send me another. I had two 12-in kickers in a box in my 2010 Titan. I needed to reclaim some space and I built two separate boxes, one to contain all the amps and DSP. And one small sealed box for the sub. I wired it down to 1 ohm because this is a 2 ohm unit and my monoblock amp handles it just fine. This is a wonderful musical base and it actually sounds better than my two old 12s If you're in the market for something and you need something with a less deep profile would have a hard time recommending anything but this. I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JKU) Rubicon with the stock subwoofer enclosure. This speaker will not fit without trimming the subwoofer enclosure opening about 3/8" all the way around. Depth is fine. However, there isn't enough air space to generate solid bass. It isn't a speaker issue but an enclosure issue. More air space would definitely help this speaker deliver on bass. Good luck finding a protective grill for it, though. I reached out to CT Sounds directly asking for suggestions. They had none. Seems strange but, ok. I haven't found one that will fit yet. I took a photo of the issue. Other grills attach around the sub but there isn't space for that on the Jeep's enclosure. ... show more

So I purchased these after my initial choice of speaker would fit my under seat box in my gladiator. Absolutely an impulse/cheap, sure fire fit purchase till I got something to fit my box. After installing them I’m not in nearly as big of a hurry to find a replacement. Very clear and clean bass. I had systems in the 90s I had way more money tied up in that weren’t this good. Being an 8” sub the bass is tight when needed for rock music but has enough boom for rap. I’ve got em on a 1200 watt bass amp with the gain at half and they’re trucking on strong. For $180 o don’t think you could do any better than these. Very impressed! ... show more
