This is really good quality, all metal, its heavy. When i took it out of the box and rolled the letters, they catched a little bit. But i ended up taking it apart (because you have to if you want to change the code) and just took a metal file and filed out the little burs, around the inner circles. I got this to hide clues to a vacation trip for my son. The quality is really amazing; very heavy and solid construction. I was worried it would be hard to reset the key word, but it was surprisingly easy and the directions were easy to follow. There were 2 rings inside the cryptex that reminded me of Lord of the Rings; very neat looking, though I couldn't read the writing with whatever font they used. I removed those since they were irrelevant for my purposes. The inside chamber is quite small... my original idea of putting envelopes in there was quashed. The chamber is about 3" long and about 1" high. I had to create tiny scrolls to put in instead. The box it came with was fancy enough to use as a gift box, so hooray for no wrapping! Overall, I really like this cryptex and hope to use it more often in the future. I just wish the interior chamber was bigger!! ... show more
