My husband bought two sets of these for us for Christmas last year. We LOVE them! We always do them together, so there's a little competition for who solves them first, and when we're both done, we compare and talk through our solutions -- a great shared activity. The puzzles are so clever, and the way they gradually introduce new folds so that your skills increase as the complexity increases is really fascinating. And the paper quality is terrific -- it really stands up to a lot of folding and re-folding. Fun and satisfying! We have given many as gifts, getting other people hooked on this elegant brain buster, and we are almost done with the second packet in the series, with the third one queued up.     • Delightful stocking stuffer! Adult offspring loved these.
I've always put puzzles in Christmas stockings. Now that the kids are grown, I only do a few token items in a stocking to keep up traditions. Normally, puzzles seem like a waste now, as our kids don't want to haul them home on airplanes in limited luggage space, so they leave them at our house to collect dust. These solved all of that. They were so much fun, our daughters fiddles with them for days while talking, watching movies, and just hanging out. I had divided one pack up between the stockings, without realizing that the colors indicated difficulty level. Another time, I'll just get each recipient their own pack so we don't have some people getting easy puzzles and others really hard ones (that's what I got - couldn't understand at first why one daughter was solving them with lightning speed while I was extremely 'puzzled' - til I looked closer and saw the color difference. We've now been through them all, but will probably get more next year as they were so much fun. Would also be a great travel game for a long car or airplane ride! Disposable (or not - finished puzzles can be tucked into a small space), compact, absorbing, and lots of fun. They'd be a great alternative to video games, brain-numbing scrolling, etc. Off-screen time is great for the brain - these help with that. ... show more

I recieved this Foldology game/puzzle as a Christmas gift, and I was so happy to get it! You have to fold a piece of paper at different angles to try to make a picture on one side, and green squares on the other. It is challenging, moving from easier puzzles to harder. I will have to be honest, the reviews made it sound easy peasy, but it is quite difficult. I am only in the lower numbers, and it is already challenging. Although I am not an adult, you should make sure you are up for the challenge! It is NOT as easy as it looks! It was definitely smaller than I expected, but it does not bring any problems due to its size! It was a great buy, and I would totally recommend it for anyone you know who likes origami, or solving puzzles! ... show more

This was a great way to spend time at a restaurant waiting and folding papers! We loved the challenging puzzles, so many were easy but then they get harder. Great family fun night ages 7+up, I’d say.

    • I love puzzles. I love origami. I loved this!
My 6 year old loves puzzles and origami. I bought this to enjoy together because it states for Age 10+. The puzzles are laid out from easiest to hardest for the most part with 1 being easiest. (There are numbers on the back). We spent hours on these! He did the easier ones without an issue. The higher numbers are definitely more challenging for me. This is a great quiet time activity alone or with someone. We compared how we solved our own puzzles. I would gift this to any puzzle lover! I love the idea of this paper folding "game," but the package is small and I am questioning if it is worth the price. I bought it for a gift, so I have not opened the package for a close look.     • Great to have at your desk for a quick break
I enjoy origami and have a book of it on my desk for moments when I need a mental break from the tasks I'm doing. This is an excellent addition to that! It's smaller than origami paper, but the weight of the paper is good-- easy to fold and has a pleasant feel to it, similar to newspaper but much better quality. The print quality is also very good and the photos are cute. I like the progression of the puzzles. At the front of the book, there's light green sheets that are meant to be the easiest, and purple sheets at the back which are the hardest. It feels really well organized. It's a good size for travel but I would be concerned about accidentally folding the pages while it's in a bag or pocket. Probably will need something to protect it while traveling, maybe make a cover of cardstock or find a reasonable sized envelope. I noticed on their website, that there are two more puzzle books after this which are meant to continue and provide more challenge. Definitely intend to buy them when I am done with this one. ... show more
