  • Crucial RAM works well for me!
I have Crucial solid state drives that work much better than the old spinning disk drives. I'm happy with them and that brand, so I was pretty sure that these would be good enough quality, and a value for the money for the kind of uses I have for my desktop. They snapped right into place; the hardest part for me was seeing the slots where they went! I've had them in for a couple of days and everything works fine! ... show more

  • Works for HP 800 G2 MiniTower
I put this 32GB kit (16GBx2 dual rank, 2666 MT/s) in the HP 800 G2 MiniTower and it works well. The speeds are a little faster than the stock 16 GB of RAM it came with. As for performance, Windows 10 and all of the overhead that is run with the system are now happy. I also run VMs on this system and the extra memory is helpful with this level of multitasking. I tested this initially with MemTest 86 and have no issues. ... show more

  • Zero issues for me!
Crucial is a trusted brand in RAM, and this was close to the lowest price for the amount of RAM at the time ($120 for 32gb). The other RAM sticks that have the fancy heat sinks aren’t necessary unless you’re doing some serious overclocking for long periods of time, and even then if you’re doing that, you probably have a good amount of cooling fans in your PC. So these basic, not pretty chips do the job. I built a Hackintosh and have had zero issues since my purchase 2 months ago. ... show more

  • works well so far, and at less than half the cost of dell
purchased a dell optiplex 3070 during the holiday deal cycle as I loved the form factor. however, the black friday deal i got only came with 8 gigs of ram. i like to have a lot of windows, programs, and browser tabs open all at once, so more ram was a huge need. i looked at many options, but this crucial kit seemed to be the one to try. 32gigs of ram was what i was looking for, compatible with the dell 3070, and at a price less than half of what it would've costed from dell. so far so good ... show more

  • Inspiron 3670 (Small Form Factor) Needed Boost
Boosted the 3670 from 16 (2x8) to 32 (2x16), doing my first ever work on a computer. Was super simple, just needed to depress cards deep enough to make latches auto close. Had issues not getting cards deep enough in but they'd still latch. When powered on, Dell would give orange flashing power light. Rechecked cards, pushed in deeper and latches naturally closed at right depth; pressure on top, both sides equally. Got these to improved trading, having multiple platforms open with windows open world give killer lag. Will update next weekend after a week's use. Computer seems much faster loading browsers, apps, etc already but it's too creepy to judge properly. Update 1 - wow, huge huge difference in computer. Many tabs open, many apps open, no lag. It's great. ... show more

  • I feel the power!!
I have a 2 monitor PC with 8GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, and Intel Core i5-10400F CPU. Before this upgrade, most things ran smooth and the most intense thing I did was playing Dead by Daylight and using my Quest 2 Airlink with this PC. Both ran but there was a bit of lag. Also having too many tabs open did create lag (ofc since I only had 8GB RAM). After the RAM upgrade, felt like I got a memory boost and a graphics card power boost. I no longer feel like I need a better graphics card for the casual gaming I do. Can only speak for myself but this extreme investment in RAM was a big power boost not just for multitasking but overall smoothness in all my graphic intensive games. ... show more

  • Makes my emulators run even faster
Makes my emulators run even faster as if I put an I9 chip in which I have an I7 8th generation Dell which emulates pretty well for even 3D era emulators except a few slight stutters here and there when loading things new. PCEM17 is more CPU intensive then graphics as it emulates different bios of computers up to Pentium Overdrive MMX series and once you get into that range it generally sucks your (Host) CPU dry unless you do Win 95 or earlier images. Otherwise you get a lot of stuttering especially during video playback of older games on a Windows 98SE image. HOWEVER now I can emulate the Overdrives MMX series and not drop below 99 percent. When you drop below 85 you get a lot of sound stutterings such as in Carmen Sandiego when too many characters walk around the screen. ... show more
