Great bed frame for small spaces. The hardest part was carrying the box up my staircase since it was a bit heavy and long. The frame was very easy to assemble and only took no more than 2 hours. There was 1 screw missing but it came with a lot of extra pieces and I found a good replacement. Hydraulic lift system is smooth and the overall materials are all sturdy. I am surprised I am able to fit my big travel luggage under it, however it’s very snug when I put the bed down and truthfully, if it was 1-2 inches taller, it would be perfect fit, but nonetheless the storage space still fits a lot. The outlet shelf on the headboard is also a great feature. I can easily charge my phone and keep my eyeglasses and remote on it so they don’t get lost in my covers. ... show more

Quick assembly and looks great! Two person assembly took about 45 minutes. Sturdy frame and looks great. There was one screw hole that had not been drilled on the metal frame. It was crucial to the assembly. We we able to easily drill a hole and it went together just fine.

I ordered this on a Thursday and it was delivered less than 2 days later even though the shipping info said 2 weeks. That was nice. It weighs a ton I felt bad for the fedex guy. I put it together by myself in under 2 hours with an impact gun. Instructions were pretty good. The hydraulic mechanism holds up my king size hybrid and it’s heavy. I found this pretty easy to assemble, just pay close attention to where the holes are on the metal parts! I initially had one piece on backwards but it was easy to fix. The hardware comes sealed in separate compartments in a labeled blister pack which also contained all the tools needed for assembly. All the structure is really solid which is great because my hybrid mattress is HEAVY! Love that the headboard has a built in shelf, because I always need extra space for books/journals lol ... show more

Changing to a king bed in a small bedroom and wanted a bed frame to make the most use of the space under the bed. This bed frame is perfect blend of those needs and it's got some style and nice features too. And on Black Friday it was at a great price! I bought the black color which goes great with the rest of my bedroom furnishings that are also dark tones. The wood grain showing through and overall finish of the bed looks very nice and I hope it holds up well. Having the shelf in the headboard and the charging station is something that I never knew I needed but wow is it convenient! And the open frame access to the rear of the bed where the wall outlet is usually found is handy too though it means you have to keep any cables organized. For those who are single, the box is H E A V Y, you will probably need help to wrangle it wherever you are planning to set it up and at a few points in the assembly process. There are of course quite a few parts but all were clearly marked, complete in inventory and arrived with no damage. Pay careful attention to the instructions and the orientation of the parts and use better tools than they send for assembly and all will go well. Once assembled, mattress added and bed made, there is zero noise when you lay down on the bed. And for those who may be "active" sleepers or who might practice endurance maneuvers with a partner also no noises from the bed ;-) The lift mechanism makes getting to the storage a breeze though I wish the listing for the frame indicated max weight of the mattress supported. The mattress I ordered is a thick hybrid coil and foam and it weighs around 140 lbs and it is too much for the lift mechanism to keep aloft. Problem solved by keeping a custom cut and notched length of 1x4 tucked inside the end of the bed to use as a prop. Maybe there are stronger cylinders available that are up to the task which is on my to do list to investigate. Definitely recommend this bed frame and would purchase again. Actually considering doing so for a queen frame to put under my old mattress in the spare room. Maybe next Black Friday. ... show more

Bed is very sturdy. It's not natural wood but overall is a good bed. Few pieces did not fit properly (but I make it work) and few damage pieces. But the customer service was great, they work with me to fix the problem. I will recomend this bed.
