We needed to replace our canopy tent that we've used for three farmers market seasons on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest, Spring through Fall (including hot weather, considerable wind and rain-not waterproof, but water resistance and interim storage in a dry, outdoor shed). I I sell my art at markets at least twice a week for 5 months out of the year. Finally, the tent began to tear at the corners. Considering the conditions of use, we weren't surprised or disappointed. At first I didn't see the Crown canopy on Amazon. My husband and I ordered two tents from another company. One did not collapse to a size that could fit in the back of our Toyota 4Runner. It was far too heavy to move around easier, let alone lift it to transport on the roof of the car. We returned it. The second from that same company was a struggle to put up. We were being careful, but a strut snapped. We returned that one also. Then I spotted the Crown canopy and ordered the style that served us well in the past. It seems to be sturdier than our first one, but light enough for me to handle by myself if need be. (I'm what is deemed a "senior citizen", moderately fit, but only 5' 1". ) My husband has severe back problems and needs to be careful with any activity that will put stress on his body. No worries--putting it up is a breeze because of its "pop up" feature. The rolling case is sturdy; we know from experience that it will last. Crown seems to have made improvements on that too. We were so pleased to finally have a canopy tent that we didn't have to return! BUT the first time we used it, we noticed a cut in the canopy, about 1" long. So discouraging. I contacted the company through Amazon. They contacting me almost immediately would gladly replace the tent, but we wouldn't be able to get it for almost two months. Obviously, a popular item. When I let them know that we couldn't return the damaged tent until we got a replacement, they asked if getting just a new canopy would be acceptable. Yes!! The new canopy arrived yesterday, less than two weeks from their offer to send us a new one. Excellent customer service! Would recommend this canopy tent for its portability, sturdiness, and overall attractiveness, and would definitely do business with them again! ... show more

This canopy is just as advertised. We're very happy with it so far. The biggest hurdle was getting the actual canopy fabric installed over the frame, but once that was achieved, subsequent take-down and setups go relatively easily. Although it says it's a two-person job to set up (and I recommend that as well), I am able to set it up myself by staking one corner down and doing a little back and forth action from one side to other. It is relatively heavy, so the two rollers definitely help in moving it to and from the setup location. If you are a crafter or Artisan that does shows, seriously, get the tent. It's sturdy. One person set up, so easy, I can set it up in maybe 3 minutes total. It's mostly water proof. I had a couple drips of water come through on a very rainy day, considering the downpour I'm not upset. It sheds water, while everyone else was poking their tents to get the water off, this one just shed the water right off! It was easy to assemble, there are directions printed on the side of the carrying pouch that were easy to follow. The carrying/storage pouch is heavy duty and durable. Like that it has several handles on it, makes maneuvering the packed tent very easy. Love the wheels so you can just roll it along once it's packed up. It is a little heavy, but would prefer a heavier, steadier tent, so that wasn't a factor that played into my decision to buy this. I thought the included weight bags were pretty cheesy. I much prefer the other style weights. Overall I'm very happy and glad I invested in this brand. Highly recommend! ... show more

    • Great shade - wasn't big on the color

This shade was very easy to set up. It is sturdy and sleek. I did return it because the yellow was a little too gold for what I was looking for. I thought it would be the same color as my umbrellas, but it was a darker gold, which may be because of the reflective material on the underside that doesn't let light through.
