    • Effective and gentle shampoo that goes a long way
I really love this dog shampoo. It has a light almond scent that is pleasing but doesn't smell too artificial or overwhelming. The shampoo itself is thick, but it thins down when diluted (the recommended concentration is 16:1). I found the recommended dilution to work just fine. The ingredients are great compared to most dog shampoos out there, and they're gentle enough for sensitive skin (both human and dog skin!). I like how easily this lathers and cleans, and it's great that one bottle of it will last so long. Though it's expensive at time of purchase ($59.97 at the time of this writing), it's well worth it when you consider that one gallon will make 128 16 oz. bottles of shampoo! That's 47 cents a bottle . . . about 10% of the retail cost of most dog shampoos. Overall, I'm very pleased, and I plan to continue buying this shampoo next time I need more for my three dogs. ... show more

This is a very thick, concentrated shampoo that covers a lot of area once it's thoroughly wet. It has a pleasant, mild aroma while washing the dog but doesn't leave much of a smell after being rinsed which I like. I don't care for a strong perfumy after smell on my dog after a bath. I just want her to smell clean which is what I get from this shampoo. It's working well to get her clean but doesn't seem to bother her when some inadvertently gets in her eyes. And apparently it tastes good because she licks it off my arms while I'm washing her like it's a treat of some kind. Maybe she's just weird. ... show more

Very nice shampoo. It has a very nice scent that lingers mildly on the dog after their bath. It cleans their coat and skin well with some massage. None of my dogs, 2 of which have very sensitive, had a problem with the shampoo. I use it diluted in a squeeze bottle to make it easier to work with, but I do that with all my dog's shampoos and conditioners. The shampoo rinses out cleanly and leaves their fur soft and smooth.     • Smells good and you only need a small amount at a time
This pet shampoo smells good. The bottle is huge, so it was more manageable for me to just measure this into a smaller container and add water. This is definitely a groomer level product. I only have two dogs, so this will last me a long time. My dogs had no adverse affect from the shampoo and it rinsed out thoroughly. I did not necessarily notice a softer coat from using this shampoo, but I'm not sure if that is one of its benefits. I could smell this shampoo the moment it arrived. It is wonderful! No adverse reaction from my pups. They come out clean and smelling great. I love the large size, it makes it very affordable and a great value. I will definitely be ordering more.

    • Smells Really Good
I have 3 dogs that I am always bathing and really go through a lot of shampoo, so when I saw this huge bottle that is made to be diluted to make a lot of shampoo, I had to get it. I got a plastic squirt bottle that has measurements on it to make the shampoo correctly, and it's pretty easy to do. The shampoo is thick even when it's diluted with water. It smells like a sweet almond scent that I really like, and even have a bodywash with a similar smell. I always shampoo the dogs twice, and this shampoo gets their hair clean without drying their skin underneath it. Two of my dogs have thick curly hair that can feel dry if the shampoo isn't moisturizing, but with this, their hair feels soft and looks healthy. The bottle does cost a lot, but reasonable when thinking of how much it comes with and how much more it actually makes. It is a huge bottle that will last me a long time.
