Absolutely by far the best conditioner for dogs I have ever used! This conditioner is sooo good. The smell lasts a long time (days). If I knew it wouldn't affect my hair I would use it on myself lol. It smells so good and makes my pups smells great! I have two pups, a 6 month old pyrenees and a 9 month old double doodle and neither of them have had any issues with skin irritation or loss of hair after using this product on them. It lathers really well and it doesn't take to much to get full body coverage, my pups have lots of hair so I'm sure I use more than someone with a shorter haired dog would use. I apply the conditioner and leave it on for 2-3 minutes before I rinse it back off. It does take a little bit of time to rinse it though especially since I use it on their whole body. It works so well though that I don't mind taking the extra time to rinse it. After using this conditioner on my pups not only do they smell amazing, their fur feels softer and it is so much easier to brush. This is a large jug (1 gallon) so it will last a while, especially if you mix it with some water. I'm not good with mixing ratios so I just use it straight out of the jug and spray some water over it as I'm rubbing it into my pups fur. Overall I am more than happy with this conditioner, it smells amazing, the scent lasts for days, it makes my pups fur feel soft and easier to brush and it's a large 1 gallon jug. I would say it's doggy salon quality. In my opinion this conditioner is a great value and I would most definitely recommend this product!     • Leaves dog coat feeling sooooo soft!
This conditioner leaves my dogs coat feeling so soft and it leaves a good scent. I have never found another conditioner that leaves my dogs coat as soft as this conditioner does. I highly recommend this to pet parents. I do feel like it is already kind of diluted as is (says it is concentrated) but the label shows that you can dilute it more. I did go through a lot with my husky foster but I could have honestly used more than enough. It rinses well and does not leave an oily residue on the dogs skin or coat. ... show more

I am reviewing this "Crown Coat Almond Grove All Purpose Dog Conditioner, 1 Gallon." It was finally time for my dog's bath, and I was excited to review this product. If it matters, my dog is a mixed breed (some type of shepherd/pointer so they say) and she has shorter hair that sheds. Pros: -Received large 1 gallon jug with handle and twist off cap -Safety seal in place -Company states this product is concentrated with a recommended dilution ratio of 16:1 -Pleasant and strong scent right out of the bottle, but not overwhelming, in my opinion -Scent remains after bath. Currently my dog is still smelling clean and fresh going on day 3 (I could still smell the actual conditioner scent on the 1st and 2nd day after, but that has now mostly faded and she just smells generally clean) -Seems to do a good job conditioning/ moisturizing my dog's fur as her fur is feeling soft and smooth -Seems to have a nice slight lather when applying -Has not caused any irritation to her skin as far as I can tell -Made in the USA Cons: -Not sure about the 16:1 ratio. I tried out that approximate ratio and ended up with a solution that seemed a bit too watery. I ended up adding a little more of the product to thicken it up slightly and it worked quite well despite being a very thin consistency -Mildly inconvenient to dilute since it doesn't come with a separate bottle, but I'm sure I'll find a spare empty bottle to use for this in the future -There is some type of odd separation occurring that is visible at the top of the bottle. I shook it up right before using, but it has separated once again... probably not a big deal? Overall, I like this product and it seems like it will last a long time if you dilute it properly. The current list price of $59.97 for a gallon seems like a good price especially if you dilute it further. I don't think most people will want to dilute it out to equal 16 gallons of watery product, but who knows. The expiration date on the bottle is hard to read but looks like it says 10/3/27. If diluting, I'm unsure if someone with one dog like me would be able to use this product up before that time, but we'll see what happens. ... show more

This conditioner made my dog’s coat soft, shiny, and easy to brush. It rinses clean without leaving residue and the almond scent is light and pleasant. Detangling took less time and I noticed less static and fewer flyaways after drying. My dog has moderately sensitive skin and there was no irritation. The gallon size is a great value. I pour some into a squeeze bottle and add a little water so it spreads evenly. It's pretty thick so its best to dilute it. It's very moisturizing so its perfect for dry coats and skin. A small amount goes a long way. If you want a simple, reliable conditioner that leaves the coat smooth and fresh, this one delivers. ... show more

I've used this on my dog several times now. It is a light scented almond oil. This is a concentrate so I dilute it with water in a separate bottle. At the end of her bath I finish with the almond conditioner. I just rub it in and let it sit for a few minutes the give her a light rinse. I was afraid it would be oily and hard to get out of her fur but that hasn't been the case. It leaves her fur soft and smelling fresh. There is no heavy perfumey smell. A gallon is not what I would call inexpensive but it is meant to be diluted. If you use it that way you will get many many bottles out of the one gallon and it will last a long time. Using it this way makes this gallon bottle a good value for the money. ... show more
