I was concerned about purchasing this item due to mixed reviews. I just purchase a 2023 Toyota highlander. For my vehicle, the front bar basically fit, but not the back bar. It seems to be a few centimeters short which causes the bar to bow when tightened. This makes it impossible to put the caps back on properly. Even the front bar caps had small obvious gaps. After hours of trying to get everything to fit, it just doesn’t and I wouldn’t trust putting my car top carrier on it. I am trying to get the seller to pay for the return, but as this is a third party, this is not simple through Amazon. I suggest paying the extra money at the dealership.

The crossbars are good quality and installation was straightforward. It was going good until it’s turn to add plastic covers. The front covers snapped in place perfectly. However, same wasn’t true for rear covers. Both left and right side covers won’t stay put and you can see gaps between joints. They just kept on coming off even before any road test. Tried calling customer care about replacement for rear plastic covers but they insisted on returning the whole unit which I spent about an hour installing….!!!! Fed up I looked in other reviews and saw cable tie trick for workaround. Even though it looks ugly, it’s working for now. Really would like to see better quality on fit and finish of plastic parts. That bad quality ruins the whole experience of almost perfect product.

These rails are sturdy and solid. Installation was pretty straight forward. The main negative thing we experienced was that the rail end covers didn't all snap into place. We left two of them off and lost one of the remaining two after being on the freeway for only a couple miles. I hope we can find a replacement to keep the weather off the attachment hardware.

Poor quality. It looks ugly without the replacement parts needed. Very disappointed and it feels like a waste of money and time.

Loved my best to racks. They fit perfect for the Toyota Highlander LE and they feel sturdy. Can take up to 160 lbs per instructions found inside the box. They where easy enough to install... Took one star off because if a problem we encountered. Problem was that one of the roof racks base cover was defective.. on one side of the roof rack it would not close and it looked broken (even though it wasn't) we tried in vain to make it close to we realized the little hook was too small on one side.. it seemed like to much work to take off and return so we made do.. but was a bit disappointed that it was not as perfect as I had imagined... other than that they where great
