Actually ordered one that was returned but Amazon stated it was only package that was damaged. The product itself wasn't damaged at all. One of the stitches on the leather was loose. Took a lighter to it and it was fixed. Product as described, got the 24" because my counters are at 32". The cushion is comfy, thick. Supports heavier people so far. Love them. Easy to assemble. Bought 2 for my kitchen with some reservations because the price seemed low for good quality. I was so wrong. These are beautiful, well constructed of solid wood, easy to assemble for an 80 yr old woman. They are very sturdy and stable. I could not be more pleased.

These came very packaged! I ordered four stools. The first went together well. Although be careful attaching the legs. It doesn’t instruct you on the order. The holes in the sides got the four spreaders you put in last must line up with with each other. Made that mistake the first time. Each legs has a what I call a “high hole” and “low hole” for the spreaders. Make sure the low side matches the low side on the adjacent leg and high to high. Otherwise the spreaders will go in lopsided and you will need to remove the legs again. Also don’t tighten the legs on right away of you will need to loosen them to put the spreader bars in. Once you put the spreaders then tighten the legs completely and screw the spreaders in. If these are going on hard floors invest in some felt bottoms for the legs. There was one defective leg on one chair in that the threads were so far down inside the leg that leg would not screw on. I emailed them and followed up with a call and they were very helpful and will send out a replacement leg. Also be patient screwing the legs in. Sometimes the bolts don’t seem to line up right but they eventually work themselves in. Overall very sturdy. Comfortable padded seat. Very attractive. I hope they last. I am attaching a pic of the defective leg. ... show more

These stools (we purchased the cherry color) are definitely worth the effort of assembling them! My husband, who's the pro in our house at putting together our impulse-buy Ikea finds, assembled both of these stools in about 1.5 hours. He said some of the legs were not properly labeled according to the instruction manual, and screwing the cross-pieces onto the legs was somewhat awkward. I don't think I would have had the patience for it, haha. However, once assembled (see pics) the stools were perfect! The cushions are comfortable, and the cross-pieces on the stool legs are the perfect place to rest your feet. All four legs of each stool sit flush to the floor with no rocking or unsteadiness. One of the reasons I liked these stools over other options is because there are no buttons or other studs that could be broken, pulled, or chewed off. Ha! I almost took off a star for the assembly process, but in the end, they're such great, solid stools that I'm sticking with 5 stars. ... show more
