It's a beautiful and substantial piece of furniture. Not difficult to assemble either. Be sure to examine every piece for shipping damage as soon as it arrives. Mine came with a crush edge on one of the boards and a slightly crumpled corner on another. A little wood glue repaired the board but it was iffy as the damage was very close to a pre-drilled screw hole. The damage to the crumpled corner is not severe and it's on a back corner so it isn't noticeable. I was able to just reinforced it with wood glue. In spiteofallthat, I'm very pleased with it.

Have been shopping for a suitable furniture piece for some time now with little success. Being able to shop online was essential because of restricted mobility, and that created a lot of other issues like delivery, assembly, and returns. While what I really wanted was a high-end storage piece for the dining room, from one of my favorite furniture stores, I eventually realized it was going to have to be either “make -do” or live with a stack of moving boxes for another year. Criteria became workable size (had to fit space available), adequate CLOSED storage, reasonable appearance, manageable assembly, reliable delivery. This piece met requirements, and availability from Amazon was a huge plus. Wait time was a bit long, but not prohibitive. I read every one of the reviews, paying close attention to delivery problems and assembly issues.I upgraded the delivery because of package size and weight - it had to end up in the house not at the curb. Communication was good. I was given an estimated delivery date that was precisely met. As the time approached, I got frequent updates on exact dates and times. Immediately beforehand I was given a 4 hour window for delivery (12-4pm). The truck arrived at 1215., packages were offloaded and brought in carefully, and it was a done deal by 1230. I made sure to check box condition and number of packages as both had been mentioned in reviews. My husband and I opened and examined all content for damages, and none were found. Reviews described assembly as tedious but not difficult. What wasn’t said is that some of the pieces (top, bottom, and sides) are quite heavy and may require help to hold them in position. Also, I can’t emphasize enough that carefully reading the instructions and doing things one step at a time are essential. There are a zillion parts and pieces, and while they are carefully labeled and neatly packaged, they need to be precisely identified and selected.. My husband, who did all of the assembly, complimented the precision of predrilled holes and notches. Nothing was pre assembled. He said that if something didn’t fit quite right, or the holes didn’t quite match up, he had one of the pieces upside down, or backwards, or the wrong piece altogether. If everything was correct, smooth as silk. See previous paragraph.. I want to give a shout out to the delivery men. They were friendly, careful, unhurried, made sure everything was there and in the right place (old lady in a wheelchair answering the door helped). I’m saying this here as I was unable to give an online delivery review as the item was labeled “Not delivered yet”. I think that was because the feet come in a separate box, and they didn’t scan it. I got a call a few days after delivery; they were making sure I had everything as they were getting the same message. Bottom line: I got exactly what I wanted and expected, in a timely manner, with no problems except that the assembly took a bit longer and involved slightly more muttering than anticipated. It’s also way better than “make do”.

It’s a nice cabinet for the money. Assembly was step by step just a little time consuming for one person but overall not difficult until at all. I did not line it was all particle board. But you get what you pay for. For now it will do since I was just trying to fill an empty space in my home.

So this went pretty well. The delivery team was fantastic. The box was in pristine shape. All the parts were included. The directions were clear. The only issue we had, aside from it taking about three hours to assemble is that one of the parts did not have the holes drilled for the dowels. Much to the objection of my beloved wife, I ended up using a 1/4" bit with some tape as a stop to drill them myself. That's not exactly an option for everyone, but it was the sole challenge we had during assembly.

This is a great piece of furniture for the price. It looks great in my dining room and I've already received many compliments. I agree with the other reviewer though regarding the wine rack. It's rickety but it works fine. I plan to use the bottom one and remove the top. It took me about 4 hours to put this together. Everything fit together nicely and assembly was easy but long.I give it 4 stars because while it looks great and was relatively easy to assemble, upon closer inspection you see some of the "cheapness" to it... like the wine rack. Or the bottoms of the drawers, which look nice but have a cardboard feel to them. Also, I had issues (which were resolved) with damaged pieces. This is not a small piece of furniture however it is tightly packed in 1 box when it arrives (the feet come separately). My shipment came very quickly (less than a week) and upon initial inspection, had normal wear and tear from shipping. When I opened it though, 7 pieces were damaged, scratched, chipped or completely unusable; including the two of the main peices: the top and bottom. Shipping it back is not an option because you could never pack it back up the way it came and you have to take it completely apart to inspect your pieces. So I opened the manual and contacted Crosley furniture directly. They were very nice and kindly offered to ship me the broken pieces free of charge. 4 days later, the 7 pieces arrived but the table top was again damaged. I contacted Crosley again, and again, without hesitation, shipped me another table top free of charge. The following week my table top arrived in perfect condition and I was able to finish assembling the piece. My dining room was in disarray for two weeks while I waited for pieces to arrive which was a pain but in the end I am happy with this furniture. Customer service at Crosley was fantastic so kudos to them for standing behind their product and responding so quickly and making this easier than I anticipated it would be. So, am I happy with the furniture? Yes. Would I recommend this to a friend. Yes. At $350 I believe it was a good deal.

What I liked: -The assembly was easy but I’d suggest a helper for when you need to flip the unit -The color is awesome and true to the picture. I got vintage mahogany -The cost was reasonable. What I disliked: -They sent legs that are clearly the wrong ones. -The top piece has a stain/rough texture that looks like sticky finger prints. -When I reached out to get the correct legs the manufacturer said ask Amazon and when I tried to do that my account said it was too late to request parts or refunds. so make sure you build your unit before 30 days.
