  • 2011 Prius Feels Good
Style: Ceramic Brake Pads
So far so good in 2011 Prius. Not enough mileage yet to rate longterm performance. But so far they are quiet and they brake well. Easy install.

  • Good to go

All necessary hardware, and easy to install. Fit my 2010 Prius perfectly. They work very well. Durability and longevity to be determined.

  • Reuse existing quiet plates
Style: Ceramic Brake Pads + Hardware
Great value, new hardware included, but you reuse existing pad backing anti noise plates. Purchase disc brake quiet from a local shop and follow manufacturers instructions on proper brake pad break in procedure to avoid rotor warpage. New grease for caliper pins may be required. Caliper pins should not stick, but move freely. Success, car passed state safety inspection and I saved a lot of money. Take your time and don't be afraid to ask for help. Even if you decide not to do it yourself you are learning and it can help you have a more informed conversation with a shop service advisor. It went very well for me. Watch instructional videos, wear PPE which includes gloves and eyewear or face protection, and the right tools for the job. Take your time and never hurry. My rear brake pistons screw in instead of simply being pushed in like front brakes to accommodate the new brake pads. A rear brake part piston tool will make this job easier and safer. Spread over future brake jobs the tool you need will pay for itself in time, money, and most importantly safety. So don't improvise and invest in the right tool. Your future self will thank you. ... show more

  • Great Brake Pads, but Should be Labeled “Open Box”
Style: Ceramic Brake Pads + Hardware
Great brake pads, but the pads were loose in the box with the box clearly already opened. I have no issue with using new, but open box pads, but perhaps should be labeled that way. I did verify that the pad part number is correct and there was no scam going on (returned product with inferior pads.) Not sure why someone would open, tear up the packaging and return loose. Perhaps they bought the wrong pads for their car (maybe did not fit their car???) If the price is too good to be true, perhaps it is! ... show more
