I have an apartment and purchased a freezer that fits perfectly in my dining area. The freezer also holds my work bag, which used to take up space on the floor. I needed this freezer because my apartment freezer was too small, and I couldn't store much food. Everything would constantly fall out with only one shelf when I opened the door. This freezer comes with a wire rack that keeps smaller items contained. It also has a shelf that spans the width of the freezer, allowing me to stack items. Additionally, a valve at the bottom of the freezer keeps melted ice inside if the power goes out and it begins to defrost. Another valve on the outside of the freezer drains it when it needs defrosting. I can place a pan underneath to catch the water that drains out. This freezer is more significant than I expected and can hold more food than I can fill it with. Living in a hot area during summer, I enjoy ice in all my drinks, and my ice maker cannot keep up with the demand. I had bought extra ice cube trays, but they took up too much space, leaving me with less room for food. Now, I can stack all my ice cube trays and rotate them as needed so that the fully frozen trays are always on top and easy to grab. I use heavy plastic crates to separate different types of meat, making it easy to know what to buy when there's a sale. Due to my smaller freezer, I couldn't store frozen fruit bags for making smoothies before. This size freezer gives me more options for frozen treats during the hot summer months. Holds temperature well. True to size, and color/design. Works great for storing a whole bunch of frozen pizzas. However, the list price is way too high, in my opinion.

This review is for a Crosley American Tribute 7 cubic feet Mini Deep Chest Freezer. This is a nice little freezer, it comes with a storage basket, and although it looks small 7 cubic feet holds a lot more than I thought it would. We have a large standup freezer in our home, but I needed just a little more freezer room. My husband took me out to the garage, gave me a location, and said if you can fit one here go for it. The area was a small 4 feet x 4 feet and when I saw this was 32.6” wide and 33.35” tall I got it. The liner is rust resistant, there are 7 levels of temperature control, and I love the flag graphic on the door. I like and recommend this freezer, it holds its temperature, and the footprint is perfect for small spaces like garages, apartments, dorm rooms, and She sheds. ... show more

Nice size 7 cubic ft. freezer. The patriotic flag on the lid is a nice touch. I plugged it in and turned it up to the highest setting ( #7)and let it get cool. The directions don’t tell you what setting to turn it to when you first plug it in, but it does say turn it up to 7 after you defrost and clean it , so I’m assuming you would do the same when plugging it in right out of the box. After 2-3 hours you need to turn the dial back down to setting number 4. That’s the setting they recommend to keep it on. It started getting cold quickly. After about 20 minutes on high, the inside started getting a frosty film on it so I knew everything was working fine. It definitely keeps food frozen. It has a nice looking basket inside so you can put smaller frozen items it in. This needs to be plugged in to a grounded outlet. No extension cords. It’s not really heavy so it was easy to get into the house and place it where I wanted it to be. The directions that come with it are self explanatory. This is an American made product, hence the flag. Nice freezer works great so far!! As for the price, that’s subjective. ... show more

I've always wanted to get one for the garage, but didn't want to lose a ton of floor space. This freezer is perfect! First, it looks great with the flag decal on top. Secondly, this freezer has a ton of space inside. It looks small (and is lightweight and easy to move), but the inside holds a lot. I have moved our larger pieces of meat into it (along with some pizzas and ice cream I'm hiding from the kids). It still has plenty of space for some pork we're scheduling to get later this summer. This is a nice bare bones garage freezer. It works well and will freeze anything you need. The temperature controls are great. This is the type of freezer I would store larger cuts of meat. As the freezer only has one basket smaller items could get lost at the bottom. Make sure you measure the footprint to see if it fits. As long as you don't need shelving (if you do need shelving, go get a standing vertical freezer) this freezer is made well. ... show more

When this arrived, it was a tad intimidating due to the size of the packaging. We opened up the box and verified measurements that this would make it down the 90-degree stairs down into our basement. It is lightweight enough for two adults to schlep it up or down stairs or awkward areas. It deep-freezes quickly and granted it has only been a month, the seals keep any frost from forming.
