I've been searching for a go-to beard balm. I've tried half a dozen. So far, this is the best I've found. It's lightly scented (vaguely minty) but not too strong--wife is fine with it, though it doesn't blow her away. It feels greasy at first when applying, but dries well so that I don't absentmindedly stroke my beard and come away with a handful of oil as with some of these products. The price is right. I wish it had a little more power in terms of taming my flyaways, but I have yet to find a beard product that really works for that, and this one does as well as other balms I've tried. So there may be a better one out there, but I haven't found it yet, and will be sticking with this one for the foreseeable future! ... show more

Used to be able to get this at Walgreens, but now I have to get it on Amazon. Best sent of all the beard products I have tried. Subtle and not over powering. I love the creaminess of the balm. Others use too much wax. Goes perfect with the Oil.

I have another company’s beard balm they call it utility balm. The competitors brand is softer than wax but once you rub it in your palm it becomes very smooth. I love this feature. This beard balm is very thin meaning it takes more product to get same results. It also has less of a cologne smell to it. It’s almost transparent. I love there body wash and was hoping this balm would smell the same. It doesn’t. I personally like “BerardBrand” line of products. Admittedly everyone’s smell is different. A bit thicker than some beard balms, this one has a bit more beeswax in the blend. This makes it a really nice balance for softening and conditioning with a little bit of hold (more than a softer balm). The smell is great!

This is a good product. I like it because it smells nice and it keeps my beard from looking puffy. It does what I wanted, it is inexpensive, it holds for hours and it doesn’t make me feel gross or greasy.
