I am 5'4" and apple shaped. (220 lbs.) This coat in a 3xl is a great fit. The purple is beautiful! I initially ordered an XXL which was too tight in the shoulders. I returned the XXL and ordered the 3x. I am a bit concerned that it was obvious that my 3xl coat had been a return item. It was wadded up in the bag, unbuttoned, and the belt was hanging from one of the loops. All in all, I am super pleased with the quality of the coat and look forward to wearing it on a fall trip to Europe.

I first purchased a size up because I heard it runs small. I plan on using this coat with layers underneath. So, I ordered a size up to an Ex-Large. Way too large. I returned the original one. Then, I purchased a large. The size is perfect and will allow for me to wear a sweater with the coat. I really love the it. I highly recommend this coat. Additionally, It is light and lined and will be great for rain and wind. It will be my go-to this winter.

The Jacket looked so nice in the picture.Upon arrival it looked nothing as advertised.The red was a faded red.Not like they showed in the picture. I was very dissapointed .If they show an item please say that color may not appear as receiving.I was really looking forward to wearing it now it sits in my closet.This is the second time that colors on items do not match after receiving it.And it looks very much cheap made.Very dissapointed.Size seem smaller too.

So first go back and read the other 1- and 2-star reviews. I agree with those: too small across the shoulders (I got an XL and often a large is too big for me). Wrinkled (though it appears I'm the first one to remove it from its original packaging); doesn't breathe; doesn't stretch, the one advantage of a synthetic fabric. Plus the "khaki" is actually a beigy pink; remember "millennial pink"? Just because someone can sew doesn't make them a designer. Go to a design school! Then maybe you won't give a trench coat a too-short, belled-out skirt. Or 6 "double-breasted" buttons only 3 of which are usable. Or pocket buttons on the outside flap instead of where they belong, and no button holes to button the pockets shut. Or a button on the shoulder flap that doesn't button to anything.

This is a beautiful jacket. Fits nicely and feels great. I'm a small and there is just enough room to wear a thin sweater under it if needed. I gave this a 4 ⭐ because the color is different than advertised. What looks like a deep forest green is actually a olive green. Still a beautiful color but not the color I need so I returned it for a different color.
