I very rarely post online about anything because I detest dealing with the trolls that inevitably show up no matter what the forum or subject matter. However, after seeing several disparaging posts about this printer, I have decided to post about my experience with it. Perhaps others will find it useful. I received my first SPARKX I7 in April as a birthday gift. I had no experience with 3D printing, though I did have some experience with laser engravers and mini CNC machines so this may have made the transition easier. The setup was extremely easy. There was no actual assembly beyond removing a couple of brackets and connecting the filament tubes to the printer. Connecting it to my WIFI required no effort beyond inputting the passcode. I was printing my first piece with minutes of going operational and was immediately hooked. Since then, any issues I've had stemmed from my own inexperience. As with any new device, there is a learning curve but it isn't nearly as steep as that for a laser engraver or a mini CNC (I still get facial ticks remembering that particular experience). Apart from that, the hardware and software have performed perfectly within their parameters. Whatever questions or issues I have had were easily answered by Google searches, ChatGPT, and by 3D printing enthusiast forums. The SPARKX I7 community is growing rapidly, and the 3D printing community in general is enormous. Most 3D enthusiasts are happy to assist newcomers. Most. Anyway, I enjoyed my first printer so much I purchased a second about two weeks ago, effectively establishing my own mini print farm. The original printer I use for fun prints, mostly dollhouse miniatures and similar items. The second is my utility printer, used for mostly practical items (hinges, brackets, jigs, etc.) and decor items. It sees particular use in printing cage tags and accessories for my wife's rabbitry and my sister's mice and hamster addiction. Both see lengthy and daily use and both are performing flawlessly. Of course, regular maintenance is a must as it is with any device. The machine itself is aesthetically pleasing, and the print quality (once the settings are dialed in for the particular project and filament) is excellent. I do recommend an enclosure (the one for the Anycubic Kobra works well) even if you aren't printing with filaments that require venting (ABS, ASA, and others). The enclosure helps with maintaining a stable heat environment, thereby assisting in producing quality prints. It also helps keep the machine free from dust and any interference from curious pets. A filament dryer is also a must have and will save you both money and headaches. One special note: If you are not a patient person, then 3D printing is not a hobby for you. Depending on the complexity and detail of a project, a single print can take several hours (or longer) to complete. The longest print I have done so far was twelve hours for a highly detailed statue less than ten inches high. Overall, in my opinion, the SPARKX I7 is an excellent machine for beginners and hobby level work. It is a solid and reliable machine that is forgiving of the stumbling steps of beginners like me. Whatever model of printer you purchase, please just be patient and take the time to read the instructions, watch the instructional videos, and research any issues you have rather than throw childish temper tantrums online. Remember, as with pretty much everything these days, these printers are mass produced so don't judge the entire line if you get a imperfect machine. And remember: this is a (though quite capable) hobby level machine. If you are looking for something to do heavy production work, look at the more advanced machines. This is a great starter printer as it is quite easy to setup and use. Out of the few times I have ran prints with it not once has it clogged and if it did it comes with a cleaning tool for that task. The print quality is fairly good as well, about normal for 3d printers. The one thing I wish was for it to be quieter. But other than that i have enjoyed it.

This was my first 3d printer and all seemed very well at first. I was printing some smaller items from plans I got offline and some smaller items I designed. After about 3 weeks when I started printing anything over 4x4 I ran into issue after issue. The print head would miss ten lines halfway through and be printing I. The air. Build plate after build plate adhesion issue then finally I got a good adhesion and left my printer for about an hour in a 13 hour build. I came back and checked and the printer had printed all over itself and grabbed the print off the hotbed. I have watched endless videos on trying to resolve the issues I had with the machine. At this point it was a week over the 30 day return window so there is no help from Amazon and Creality. I have been on an email chain with them for a month. After the machine printed over itself it basically destroyed every component on the machine and support is having me switch out a component at a time. Next up was the fan on the print head which I asked how to verify and am still waiting on a response a week later. DO NOT BUY. The automatic spheghetti detection does not work and customer support will string you on forever. I have a 300 - 500 dollar investment if you include the camera, enclosure, and filament box that is no better than a paperweight and customer support seems more interested in NOT fixing your issues

I will preface this with I have used an old Anet A8 for YEARS and switched to this machine. I will say it has been the best set and forget machine yet. Out of the box it just works. The stock settings in the Creality app work well out of the box. I have used elegoo and esun filaments with it and both work well with stock settings. I am also using the CFS Lite and haven't had issues. Watch your rolls though if you switch colors a lot the slack can build up just keep an eye on em. I also screwed up trying to clear a clogged nozzel (my fault) and getting replacement parts from Creality direct was faster than amazon. Beginner or prosumer this is an amazing buy.

Not sure why I wanted a 3D printer, but I did. And after a few weeks of research (a lot of research) I decided on the Ender 3 v3 KE. It was easy to setup, although I took longer than the online videos suggested, but when I hit print for the first time the benchey boat printed and now I'm hooked. First 3D printer I've owned. Everything is easy to use. The wifi connection is great, but now I need to learn the software. Going to be a great hobby for an old retired guy. UPDATE: still happy with the purchase, but have a minor issue. After 10-15 builds, started having problems with models not sticking to build plate and had multiple fails. Bought a tube of adhesive and that seems to improve the issue, but not completely. Replaced nozzle with steel one and bought a new Creality build plate. Printed 20+ items since changing build plate and no problems. 10.25.2025 This printer is still doing great. I now have a Bambu A1 and a Creality K1C to go along with this one. Both of my other printers are currently down for repair, but this printer (Ender 4 V3 KE) is doing all my printing until I have time to repair the other 2. The Bambu has a problem with the extruder that needs to be replaced and the K1C has a similar problem, but I have to take credit for that failure. I didn't route a couple of wires correctly when adding the color upgrade kit and 2 of the wires leading to the extruder got caught in one of the new parts and broke. I've had to replace a couple if print nozzles and normal maintenance parts on the KE, but it has over 100+ hours of print time so far.

I can’t say enough about this machine. I’ve been printing non-stop since I bought it. Very sleek looking and the added CFS Lite storage box that can hold out to 4 full size filaments is the cherry on the top. It comes prebuilt right out the box, so no tools needed outside of scissors, however, for US buyers, download the app from Apple or Android first, the QR code they provide is for overseas and will not work. There online cloud webpage offers loads of free prints some by designers and others by verified community members, you can also add your own files and drop them into the Creality Print desktop app and print those as well. One of my favorite tools thus far is the painting tool, you can add multi-color printing to any project, however, keep in mind, depending on the amount of color used, your project may take several hours (I mean in the teens), so paint lightly or separate the project into parts. The build plate is a very nice size, you’re looking at about 10” x 10” x 10”, so large projects are definitely possible with this machine. Go crazy!! Oh and don’t fret about power outages, this machine has a continuous feature, and will ask if you would like to keep going where it left off, however, depending on the project, if you don’t have supports, the continuation feature may not work out (I made a mini figure and didn’t use supports, power went out, when it continued where it left off my figure was knocked down, I’ve added supports since then LOL). I could go on and on, but I’m getting tired of writing LOL, and although I did have a couple of cons, the pros hands down outweighed them. If you are considering buy this machine, DO IT!!!

Build quality issues. Lots of them. I've owned two of these machines this month and have had the following issues with them both. - The frame wobbles tremendously even when screwed in tight. Many of them lean backwards or are otherwise warped. There are mods to help with this which require drilling holes into the plastic base to mount threaded rods that you have to buy separately. Not only that, but the aluminum is incredibly soft and will very easily strip if you're disassembling and reassembling the machine to add printed shims underneath the extrusions to level out the leaning gantry. - The Y Axis rods are not secured into the base by the screws because the screws aren't even long enough to touch the rods. The linear bearings that hold up the print bed are also incredibly noisy, especially at the high speeds that are advertised. I worry about waking up roommates unless I run this thing at Ender 3 speeds. The bed wobbles quite a lot which introduces quite a few quality issues in prints, and there are several popular YouTube videos about this. - Speaking of the bed - both of mine are warped. The ABL doesn't always compensate for this. - The nozzle scrapes on infill like crazy, and Creality's response to this was to "use a different infill type". I get that it's a budget printer, but some of my prints are for work and need certain kinds of infill to hold up. I've tried everything in my power to make this stop and it doesn't. Lots of blobs and stringing because of this even with "good" filament that has been dried. - The nozzles were very crooked out of the box on both machines. Not the brass tip - I'm talking about the whole hotend nozzle. One of them wasn't even fully screwed in. I could have had a catastrophic failure if I hadn't checked this. - One of my part cooling fans randomly separated itself from the cover as one of the screws literally stripped itself out of position. The fan is bulging outwards from the side of the shroud. - Auto Z Offset never puts the nozzle in the right place. I find myself having to recheck it after prints are done because of all the quality issues I get, and I've tried everything to tune it. I've had more iffy prints than good ones. Overall, it feels cheap and doesn't perform nearly as well as I thought it would out of the box. It's an Ender in every sense - only get this if you want to tinker with it endlessly. I don't have time for that, so I'm returning both to get a better machine. If I wanted this kind of experience, I would have bought a used Ender 3 secondhand and modded it to oblivion.
