  • K2 Pro Creality
Set name: K2 Pro
It is awesomely good. It is heavier than what Gemini informed. It was difficult to confirm whether it would work in 220v or will require and adapter (it works 110-240v so by just switching the plug to the one I needed, so it started working upon arrival) 🤣. Even though it requires some assembling, it’s not complicated and the troubleshooting is quite straightforward. I got filament stuck in the buffer because I connected the hose incorrectly. After opening the buffer and getting the filament out the problem solved. I also misconfigured the PETG filament as PLA and it printed a huge ball of melted plastic. The printer is idiot-proof and nothing got broken because of this beginner’s mistake. There are plenty of configuration settings and tests to make it work with whatever generic filament you get… I am learning a lot and still trying to get used to the many features. The printing software is quite advanced. There’s plenty of models in the Creality page available for free and a lot of documentation on how to troubleshoot in the wiki. There is a section to do modeling and I have made a model for a small Mario bross with the face of one of my coworkers 🤣 and I haven’t been using the printer for more than 10 days. I am eager to start designing stuff. I believe it is worth the money because it is sturdy and very good engineered. I would definitely buy it again. I would recommend this printer to any beginner/enthusiast ... show more

  • Fast, Solid, and Surprisingly Easy Multi‑Color 3D Printing Fast, Solid, and Surprisingly Easy Multi‑Color 3D Printing
The Creality Hi Combo has exceeded my expectations, especially as a multi‑color printer. Right out of the box, the 95% pre-assembled design made setup quick and painless. I was printing within a short time, which is great whether you’re upgrading or getting back into 3D printing without wanting a long build process. I started designing a custom dog scooper for our dog. She loves it! Overall, the Creality Hi Combo offers a great combination of speed, reliability, and multi‑color capability at a reasonable price. It’s a strong choice for hobbyists who want to step into multi‑color printing without dealing with constant tuning or complicated setups. ... show more

  • I wouldn't recommend it - clogs way too easily and repetitively and many sensor issues
Set name: K2 Pro Combo
Packaging was amazing. Setup was a breeze (and this is my first 3d printer). Test print? Yes - success! 2 months of printing with good results (I'm no pro, so I am guessing results were acceptable - I mean I was happy). Then retraction issues and crazy errors that point to the external spool I've never used. Turns out that is the best they can do to tell you that your filament broke in the extruder and you need to clear it. I've gotten good at clearing it, because now it happens every time I print. What a disappointment. I guess I should have listened to my friend and gotten a Bambu. I can't get motivated to print anything any more because I know it will just clog again. Going through that process, even though I've gotten good at it, is tedious and mind numbing. Takes all of the joy out of this thing. Now I will only print when I really, really, really need something - like for a wood working project. Time to start saving I guess. I have learned a lot about 3d printing and how I will use it. Never was meant to be a money maker. Really wanted it for things like woodworking jigs and accessories. I now know I don't care if it is enclosed as I will never print in anything except PLA for my needs. I will never print multi-color again. I can paint PLA just fine. And, evidently, according to Creality, the enclosure temperature is causing my clogs. Even though it has been consistent the whole time I've owned it and it is in a controlled environment. This printer was probably more than I needed from the beginning but I tend to do that when I buy things - go big! Anyway, I would keep looking somewhere else. This thing has become the bane of the creative side of my existence. Such a bummer. Update: Turns out it prints more reliably from the external spool ... weird that the CFS was triggering the error even though the sensor in the extruder assembly is what detects the error. Sounds like a software issue to me. Anyway downgraded to one star as now I'm having z-homing issues to which the solution requires a large amount of disassembly. I'm done with this brand. I'll eventually fix this, but I ordered another printer from another brand. This definitely got me hooked on 3d printing, oddly enough. ... show more

  • Fun and easy to use with print files to choose from
Set name: K2 Pro Combo
I got this for my husband and he has been running it non-stop, mostly making figits and toys for our kids, who are school teachers, for their classrooms. Also games for their after school game club, and they are really excited about playing them. So far, it has worked great without any problems, other than operator error that was easily fixed. I might add that his employment was Engineering Manager, CNC Programmer and Design Tech, so this was the perfect retirement gift for him. He also has a UV 3D Resin printer and the details are better, but they each have their own specialty build and use. ... show more

  • Absolutely love it! Absolutely love it!
Set name: K2 Pro
Absolutely love it, the one thing I recommend for people buying this is to get a CFS, made my life so much easier. Also, make sure the cover on the extruder is fully attached, it sometimes gets shaken loose during shipping. The print quality is awesome. The very first thing I printed on this was a fullsized Mandolorian Helmet, it came out beautifully . The Auto leveling is a godsend, it used to be the bane of mult existence. Literally just pressed the calibrate button, waited 14 minutes and that was it. It comes with a glue stick for adhesion, it's basically a normal glue stick. I've used the glue stick once, the printer seems to adhere fine without but it doesn't hurt to use it on the build plate beforep printing. The glue is a bit thick and I was worried it might clog the nozzle, but having print for about 100 hours now I have experienced 0 clogging issues. I got this on sale when it was sub $900, that is a great value for what you get. Full price is a bit steep so I would recommend grabbing it whwn it's on sale. ... show more

  • Don’t think twice if your looking for a printer Don’t think twice if your looking for a printer
Set name: K2 Pro Combo
I initially bought the Flashforge 5M pro and that thing is the bomb. Unfortunately, I needed some options for easy color printing and a larger chamber. That was limited to a 200^3 printing area and a single color. If you’re looking for a smaller machine, that one rocks!!! I moved up to this with the 4 spool CFS and a 300x300x300 print area. I’ve printed a few things with two colors and many things of a single color. I’ve printed a cold air box for under the hood at 295mm x 280 x 282 from PA (nylon) that tool 72 hours to print. Worked perfectly. I’ve printed three ASA door pockets for a project car (290x180x50) with no issues. I’ve printed PA, ASA, ABS, PETG, and PLA so for various things. To put it into perspective, I’ve used about 10 filament rolls between learning with bad designs, and actual useful items. It’s amazing the world that opens up with a 3d printer with the ability to make my own anything when I need it. As simple as measuring, designing and printing a rotating fan part to repair my wife’s fan to a brace for an intake manifold from an aluminum fan shroud to the cold air intake box was easy once I learned to use Onshape. There a few dozen other free CAD drawing programs available. I learned to use Onshape and it made sense to me. Watch videos and some learning channels and you’ll figure it out. Just design stuff you don’t need, just to practice. As far as the noise, the case exhaust fan is louder than the printer itself. There has been no issues with adhesion to the bed or any other issues worth mentioning. I’ve watched a few videos that helped dial in the quality. Watching the videos helped me design and print a hose mount to connect the exhaust fan to a HEPA room filter. I’ve had one issue with an extruder getting clogged but I had a spare so I just swapped it and now I’m learning how to deal with that. For the money, it’s great. The documentation as to what the printer will print is limited. I reached out to customer support to inquire about PA-cf (carbon fiber nylon) would print. It will with a different nozzle, which I bought. As I said, this printer has been great so far. ... show more

  • Sadly, after a month the reliability and customer service is nonexistant
Set name: K2 Pro Combo
I bought this printer as an upgrade when the new year arrived and was very excited. The first month of using it was pure joy. It handled every multicolor print with ease and was very fast. Then, a small cable broke in the print head. I spent weeks going back and forth with support over what was a simple part. Did they send the cable? No. I was begging to get one. They charged me 28 cents plus $30 shipping for it. You read that right. No warranty, no care for the customer - and that much to ship it from…Texas. The system was up and running again when I hooked up the new cable, and then down again a few days later. Now the extruded has had problem after problem. I bought (was not given) a new front extruded cover, and it arrived broken. I’ve replaced the extruder, the cutter and other parts in the print head to watch it go down hours later each time. So, the printer is down again. When I look for parts I am on my own, and the company cannot be consulted as it takes weeks to get answers. Listen, I want to love this printer. I try very hard to. I am constantly trying over and over to fix its issues with extrusion and yet I have to be honest with you and myself. This company is a massive disappointment, the printer is down more than it is running, has no warranty, customer service that ignores you and needs to be hounded just to provide you a part at your own cost. This is all something that would have prevented me from buying from them and it should do the same for you. Don’t live in regret over a $1k purchase like I do. Look at other manufacturers who will actually care and provide warranty coverage. What’s sad is they won’t even care about this review. There are much better printer companies who remember that customers deserve care. ... show more

  • Excellent Printer
Set name: K2 Pro Combo
I've done about 6 prints so far half of them in color. These are my observations: -The print quality is definitely better than the K1 series. -The CFS is a little bit finicky about the rolls. The plastic rolls load fine, the card board rolls slip a bit and don't always load right. So buying plastic rolls is not that big of a deal. -If this is your first 3d printer, I wouldn't recommend starting out with a color printer especially of this size. There's are some nuances to learn in order to reduce waste and print efficiently. -Would have been nice if they included a waste chute. - Overall, an excellent printer. ... show more
