  • Fast quality prints
Color: K2 Plus Combo
This was pretty easy to get setup, I have been printing abs with it almost non stop since I purchased it. It prints really fast with really nice quality. I have opted to install a Gizmodorks smooth pei sheet to the bottom of the included build plate as I like how it hold onto parts better and leave a glass smooth finish on the bottom. I've only really had a few issues with the machine. 1. It didn't recover from a momentary power outage correctly, and knocked all the prints off the of build plate when it resumed the print. 2. With abs even the cr-abs the elephants foot effect is pretty bad I have attempted to tweak some settings to compensate for this, but it's still a bit of an issue. 3. The printer over extrudes abs on the top surface making it rough. I have solved that issue a few times by speeding up the print, and manually tweaking some of the filament settings, but that isn't very easy to do or intuitive. 4. The gear that feeds the filament chews it up pretty badly and that makes it brittle and has caused it to break several times causing me to have to disconnect the tubes and fish out the broken chunks before I could make the machine print again. The error message associated with that problem isn't very intuitive as it assumes you are using the spool holder and not the cfs. 5. I wish I would have known before purchasing that it is not designed to work with flexible filaments like tpu. There are mods that can be done to allow it to print tpu and I have purchased them but have yet to install and test printing with tpu. Overall though it is a good printer and makes some nice quality production prints for my online sales. ... show more

  • Really glad I picked this printer.
Color: K2 Plus Combo
I'm new to 3d printing and so far this thing has been amazing. I've had it for 3 weeks and I've been running it non stop. I've got through 3kgs of pa6-cf and my prints are gorgeous. I am not using the Creality slicer though. I'm using orca slicer. Zero issues or problems so far. I'm really glad I picked this one despite some of the iffy reviews. It also made it to my house in perfect condition. Edited . My cfs won't work and I get an error on every print. Exception 2252 I've emailed Creality 3 times with no response. If really like to do multicolor prints but I can't since the cfs won't even load filament. I can only use the side spool. It's very frustrating. This thing was expensive. Edit Ive had this printer for a few months now. The cfs stopped working after about a month. Creality warranty wants me to communicate via Whatsapp but they are only available in the middle of the night. I finally got ahold of the about a half hour before I started work and he was telling me things like try to turn it off and then turn it back on. Like I haven't already tried that 20 times. I've gone through the entire wiki to troubleshoot. It just won't even pull the filament into the cfs at all. I push it into the tube and nothing happens. Don't buy this if you end up needing warranty. They won't even answer emails. ... show more

  • Heavy, Humbling, and 100% Worth It — My K2 Plus Journey
Color: K2 Plus Combo
Setting up the Creality K2 Plus was surprisingly straightforward—out of the box, the instructions were clear, the wiring was clean, and everything felt like it was designed with the end user in mind. As someone who’s relatively new to the 3D printing world, I expected a much steeper learning curve, but the setup process made me feel empowered right away. That said, let’s be real: learning to dial in settings, calibrate prints, and deal with the occasional spaghetti monster has absolutely cost me a good amount of filament. I’ve burned through rolls just figuring things out. So yeah—if Creality ever decided to toss in a little gift card for extra filament with this beast, it’d feel like the ultimate “we’ve got your back” gesture for new users. Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room—this thing is massive. Like, “build-your-own-furniture-and-never-move-again” levels of massive. I wasn’t expecting it to be light, but I definitely underestimated just how solid it would be. It is built like a tank (and prints like a dream), but fair warning: this is a two-person lift. If you're trying to unbox or reposition it alone, you're in for a rude awakening unless you’re also a competitive powerlifter. Once it’s in place, though, it’s a beautiful machine—quiet, stable, and absolutely thrilling to use. Every time I watch a print come to life, I’m reminded why I love this printer so much. Despite the initial bumps and wasted filament, the K2 Plus has made me fall in love with 3D printing, and I genuinely look forward to every new project I start. ... show more

So far I really like this machine. I'm new to 3D printing but so far the machine has been fairly easy to learn along with their software.

  • DO NOT BUY
Color: K2 Plus Combo
Avoid the Creality K2 – Constant Issues, No Support Just a heads-up for anyone considering the Creality K2—I strongly advise staying away from this printer. Mine is less than 30 days old, and it’s been nothing but problems since day one. I’ve experienced multiple critical errors, including: • {"code": "key1", "msg": "Unhandled exception during run..."} – This ends in a full printer shutdown and requires a FIRMWARE_RESTART just to get it functional again. • CF0109 Abnormal heat break fan • XS2001 System error, try restarting • Factory bed came badly unlevel out of the box To make things worse, Creality’s customer support is almost nonexistent. Response times are painfully slow (2–4 days at best), and they make you jump through hoops just to get a basic reply—let alone a real solution. It’s 2025, and this kind of user experience is completely unacceptable—especially for a printer at this price point. If you’re on the fence and looking for a large-format machine, do yourself a favor and stay far away from the K2. If anyone else is having similar issues, feel free to comment or share. Let’s save others from the same frustration. ... show more
