  • Great printer
The printer did its little setup and I’ve been printing since day one out of the box. So if you’re looking for a great first printer this would be the one for you. It stays pretty level with the prints. No problems with the prints coming off the build plate. The only thing is definitely look into rooting it. ... show more

  • This printer is perfect for anyone starting out in 3d printing.
I had never used a 3d putting before. I took it out of the box and started printing like a pro. The software is super easy. It has wifi, so you can monitor and print from your phone. I have been printing non stop ever since I bought this. There are tons of free designs on the web and it comes with a free year subscription to Creality's cloud service. I've printed several accessories out of carbon fiber nylon and glass fiber. No clogs in hundreds of hours so far. You will not regret this one. ... show more

  • Seized nozzle. Power connectors for hot end glued together.
Pending customer support currently. The good: when it was working for the nearly 2 months I had it, it worked pretty dang good. The bad: ai detection camera feature is useless and has yet to stop a failed print. I've had both nozzle clogs and spaghetti that went quite some time without being detected. The really bad: Nozzle clogged due to filament breakage, no big deal, had it happen many times on other printers. However, went to remove the "quick swap" nozzle, and that's where the problems began. I had noticed slowly degrading print quality, turns out the hot end screws were loose, one fell out while removing the rubber heat shroud. Screws are very short, and have a hard time getting proper engagement, 4 threads at best. Using provided tools, tried to remove nozzle, but after a few very difficult turns, the nozzle was seized and could no longer turn in either direction. At this point, figured I should just take the whole hotend off, but as I gave the two power connections a wiggle, they broke free of the control board, to reveal that they had some sort of glue on them that I couldn't see. Maybe I got a lemon, maybe there's some bad choices in design here, or maybe I'm missing something somewhere, but as of right now, I'm out an expensive unit, due to what I can only call false advertising. ... show more

  • Dead on Arrival
Printer comes excessively well packaged, lots of layers of foam and cardboard. Not surprising, unit was in great physical shape, but on power up it just kept rebooting. I was ready to send it back, started the return process and Amazon suggested to "try troubleshooting it yourself". OK, let me get some tools... skipping ahead a bit, I found the power supply buried in the base had been configured wrong. Corrected that error, re-assembled, unit works fine. Build plate provided is labelled "For PLA", I want to print ABS so i went to look for a plate labelled "For ABS". Couldn't find one. Turns out what they meant was the plate is for standard filaments (PLA, ABS, PETG). Side note, the plate it comes with is not suitable for Carbon fiber. A printer clearly marketed as a carbon fiber printer, doesn't come with the plate for carbon fiber... They did include a number of things not in the listing. 0.2Kg spool of White PLA. Basic tool kit including a side cutter and scrapper/knife. Tube of grease for the rails and screws. adhesion glue stick (which is branded in Chinese, but appears to be identical to the English Creality branded sticks). and a dodgy USB stick that i am not plugging into my computer. Overall, the unit is built solid and my first test prints have gone well. However, I think a novice would be in a bad spot with how the unit arrived and the bad labeling and instructions. ... show more

  • Great printer
The media could not be loaded. It really is a plug and play printer, just remember to adjust the power switch on the side if you’re in the us. Auto leveling works very well and the remote viewing, pausing and status is really nice to have. I’m very pleased with how quiet it runs and how fast. I used the wireless print function and it worked flawlessly. I’m looking forward to really seeing what all this printer can do! ... show more

  • Stay away from the K1C - I used to really love this brand..
I’ve owned numerous Creality brand printers, and have never had an issue beyond something minor that might generally come with 3d printing or just something that I could fix myself being quite savvy in anything tech. However, this unit being the most expensive one I’ve bought from Creality is a real disappointment. After a few very nice, higher quality prints, I started smelling something different that I don’t normally smell from 3D printers. So I stopped my print and started investigating. What I found was what I later discovered was called the infamous BLOB. Getting just the blob, is a serious pain that I have yet to resolve and I hope nobody else has to deal with this. but even worse, when I took the cover off the print head to look into this blob, I noticed the small main board on the print head had a broken clip for one of the wire sets. So now essentially most if not all of the print head essentially needs to be replaced. BUT WAIT, there’s more 🙄 You can’t purchase a single part for these things except maybe a nozzle. Which I did buy but took almost two weeks to get. Then I try to contact Creality and not only do they take days for every email response, but they offered no help even though I’m still under warranty. I am absolutely disgusted by this company and as of now, I’m prepping to order a Bambu or Qidi printer. Just about anything has to be better than dealing with this company any longer. Especially after the amount of money I’ve spent on this printer and all the others over the years. I had high hopes initially for this thing but now I’m done. I’m sure this review won’t get their attention either but if nothing else, it helps all of you realize they are a terrible company if they aren’t willing to help the people that keep their lights on. ... show more
