Really nice printer... I've been using it for a couple weeks now and printed many things... The best thing to do is to get a dryer along with the 3d printer... It will improve your prints greatly. Also learning to fines the settings helped a lot. I saw a big difference in PETG print quality just changing the temp of the hot bed from 57C to 56C... I recommend downloading other peoples 3d modles from online sources like [Printable.com, makerworld.com or thangs.com] for the door hinges, front plate, exhaust fan upgrades and (riser plates (if you intend on using CF filaments)) to get started and learn about how the cad models work and need to be physically one piece for the Creality Print or Cura to work with them. Most software can only do so much to "repair" models someone might create in Blender... FreeCAD isn't that great but using TinkerCAD with Blender has shown me some decent results and is completely free. AutoDesks 360 fusion looks nice if you have some cash for softwawre they also have a free trial where you can make 9 editable files with there cloudbased software. I have enjoyed this new device since I'm always looking to fix or upgrade things and this allows for SOOOO much more inventive creativity. It has a setting called [ Silent ] too, which slows the printer down to silent volumes which is very awesome since I live next to persnickety people in apartments. It won't turn down the "travel" speed that much so the setting will need to be adjusted inside Creality print advanced settings if true silence is needed since it has insanely quick and efficient motors. It has auto leveling/calibrations, Lan and usb connectivity if you don't trust Wifi and I don't in apartments. It's easy enough to mess the prints up let alone having wifi hackers interrupting file transmissions.. I've heard and seen lid risers are needed to print Carbon Fiber prints due to the angle of the Bowden stock tube... ASA makes a good filament for the risers since its high working temp, rigidness and resistance to chemicals like those emited during prints sometimes. Since starting I haven't had to do much of anything to make it work soundly (since I haven't used CF filaments yet) and that is awesome! Make sure to use glue stick. Customer support is responsive for any needs and many videos online to help replace, upgrade, install, and maintain the device. I used the original plastic off the sides of the machine to help create a better seal on the front door (looks ugly but it's free and came with the machine), this keeps everything nice inside when printing and lowers the dB volume outside. Make sure if you decide to upgrade the back fan that you use a DC24v fan. You can place a piece of active carbon filter where the original fan once was... I also put a 5lbs sand back on the edge of the top of the machine which reduces vibrations and movement of the machine when travel is going fast... Don't place it in the center or you will scratch the bottom of the plate like I accidentally did... Risers would have stopped that but I haven't finished them yet... an old tooth brush with either isopropyl alcohol or water works really well to clean the build plate rather than using rags and having to wash them... plus if you do it right you can use the old glue and just make a nice finish with just a little water and effort.

I baught this Creality CR-10S from this seller name Toauto based in China. The machine was arrived on time. pretty heavy, lots of Chinese labels, and the menu was ok it had both English and Chinese. Great Value for the money I researched online and find this model would be the best value. But for my review, the main point is to tell Toauto is a very good seller. especially the customer service. I really don't do any reviews online but I did this because the seller's representative earns my respect. so after I set up the Cr-10s. There were some issues with the testing. I did not know what to do because of this my first 3D printer. So I tried to reach the factory of the product, and could not reach them. I found a thank you note in the box from the seller so I tried their number, (in China) I called and the customer service department answered they speak good English, but since I am Chinese so I talked to them in Chinese. So I asked them that I could not reach the factory I would want to know if they could help me with tech support. She told me the easiest way to get the issue solved is to record a little video, and they would get the solution for me within 24 hours, and if it is very complicated they with Skype me with an engineer from the factory. And she told me my issues will be the top priority(most customer care say that which most of them did not really means it). Since I know that most Chinese use Wechat so I ask them if we can use Wechat to send video. she told me just email her my account name the customer service will add me, which I did the email, and they added me within 2 mins. I screenshot our conversation, and you can check it if that was nice or not. From 10:08pm to 1:50am, she spent 3 hours and 45 mins and helped me very very patiently. She asked the factory to record a video for me, and she marked the pictures I sent her to instruct me what to do with the machine. She figured out the problems, and step by step help me fix my Machine. She even tells me what to do with the software. This is the way a customer service should be. I had many bad experiences about customer service(Try DJI, LOL, the service made me wanted to burn my new Marvic 2 Zoom). But this time with Toauto I had a really great experience. If they are nearby I would love to take them dinner treats on me. The kind of service made me forget about the issues with the machine. Made me respect their business and have the confidence to use the machine. I believe if an American company would train their customer service like ToAuto, the would really make America Great Again! I think the owner of Toauto should give this customer service a raise, bonus or some. I would love to hire a person like her, and I would benefits a lot from the way she treats people. Buying a product is not just the product itself but the service comes with it. I would buy again with Toauto because of the service. The machine works great, I printed couple modles and I attached the pictures of them, they look great. So please buy with Toaudo you would have a peace of mind dealing with your products.

UPDATE - I figured it out myself when I disassembled the product. The ribbon connector from the screen to the PCB wasn't connected. This is a huge miss from their QC, as I doubt this cable would've wiggled itself out during transport. After I connected it, it started printing. After about 3 prints, the nozzle jammed. Again, being somewhat technical I was able to completely disassemble to nozzle and remove the jam. I would advise users to retract the filament after each print if you anticipate a few hours or a few days between prints. --------------------------------- Would give it a zero star if I could, the power DOES NOT WORK. Set up is not terrible but it simply does not power on. Happy to give it a higher review if they can QUICKLY resolve this issue, but as it stands I needed this for work and it hugely disappointing.

The media could not be loaded. I have the printer since 5 months ago, I don't use it every day but it's working perfectly so far, my previous printer was an ender3V2 and the K1C is an excellent upgrade, it's much faster and the printing quality is equally good (the ender3V2 having excellent printing quality). It has a fully enclosed environment which reduces noise but also reduces smells from all type of plastics, specially ABS. Is a "core XY" type of printer with smaller size than other types at the same printing size, this is very positive in my case. It does need some initial "printed" upgrades to improve some basic aspect of the printer, you can check those on youtube. Great printer, brand and price, 5 stars !!
