  • Love it.
Color: K1C
I am by no means an expert. I had a much less expensive 3D printer, and struggled with it. Assembly was tedious, calibration was difficult and questionable, and trying to print anything was a confusing throwback to feeling unprepared for the exam you forgot about. I never got a single successful print. My wife said "Screw this, we're spending a little extra, and getting you a nice one." OMG. The K1C. I LOVE IT. It's so easy. No assembly-- just take it out if the box, remove packing materials, take out 3 shipping screws, connect the screen, and boom. Done. The Creality app and online site make everything sooooo simple. Seriously. I do everything from my phone on the app. "Oooooo, that looks neat." Download, slice, print. Check on progress every now and then without getting off the couch-- and just hit the camera button to watch inside the printer. Looks good? Yup. Back to doing whatever. It's simple, it works, it's fast, it's easy. ... show more

  • Good quality out of the box!
Color: K1C
Really nice printer... I've been using it for a couple weeks now and printed many things... The best thing to do is to get a dryer along with the 3d printer... It will improve your prints greatly. Also learning to fines the settings helped a lot. I saw a big difference in PETG print quality just changing the temp of the hot bed from 57C to 56C... I recommend downloading other peoples 3d modles from online sources like [Printable.com, makerworld.com or thangs.com] for the door hinges, front plate, exhaust fan upgrades and (riser plates (if you intend on using CF filaments)) to get started and learn about how the cad models work and need to be physically one piece for the Creality Print or Cura to work with them. Most software can only do so much to "repair" models someone might create in Blender... FreeCAD isn't that great but using TinkerCAD with Blender has shown me some decent results and is completely free. AutoDesks 360 fusion looks nice if you have some cash for softwawre they also have a free trial where you can make 9 editable files with there cloudbased software. I have enjoyed this new device since I'm always looking to fix or upgrade things and this allows for SOOOO much more inventive creativity. It has a setting called [ Silent ] too, which slows the printer down to silent volumes which is very awesome since I live next to persnickety people in apartments. It won't turn down the "travel" speed that much so the setting will need to be adjusted inside Creality print advanced settings if true silence is needed since it has insanely quick and efficient motors. It has auto leveling/calibrations, Lan and usb connectivity if you don't trust Wifi and I don't in apartments. It's easy enough to mess the prints up let alone having wifi hackers interrupting file transmissions.. I've heard and seen lid risers are needed to print Carbon Fiber prints due to the angle of the Bowden stock tube... ASA makes a good filament for the risers since its high working temp, rigidness and resistance to chemicals like those emited during prints sometimes. Since starting I haven't had to do much of anything to make it work soundly (since I haven't used CF filaments yet) and that is awesome! Make sure to use glue stick. Customer support is responsive for any needs and many videos online to help replace, upgrade, install, and maintain the device. I used the original plastic off the sides of the machine to help create a better seal on the front door (looks ugly but it's free and came with the machine), this keeps everything nice inside when printing and lowers the dB volume outside. Make sure if you decide to upgrade the back fan that you use a DC24v fan. You can place a piece of active carbon filter where the original fan once was... I also put a 5lbs sand back on the edge of the top of the machine which reduces vibrations and movement of the machine when travel is going fast... Don't place it in the center or you will scratch the bottom of the plate like I accidentally did... Risers would have stopped that but I haven't finished them yet... an old tooth brush with either isopropyl alcohol or water works really well to clean the build plate rather than using rags and having to wash them... plus if you do it right you can use the old glue and just make a nice finish with just a little water and effort. ... show more

  • Ender 3 Plus is Garbage
Color: Ender 3 V3 Plus
I bought the Ender 3 V3 Plus because I was excited to see an ender V3 with a larger bed size. The print quality is pretty and the bed adhesion is better than I thought. Somewhat easy to use but they could have mounted the filament holder to reduce the size even more. Easy to clean.... BUT when ever the bed levels or the nozzle is homing, it either runs into the side pillars of the printer with the motor still running and/or the nozzle with continue to head down even though it couldn't go any further, gouging the bed plate a couple times. I've only used it twice and I have like 4 gouge marks in my bed. Great Concept, Terrible execution. ... show more

  • Excellent machine for the price.
Color: Ender 3 V3 Plus
Excellent machine. Setup was easy and it has been cranking out stuff flawlessly. My grand kids have been delighted with the 3D dragons and Pokemon and I have used it with advance filaments like PETG-CF and Nylon and it works great.

  • Scary Fast
Color: Ender 3 V3 Plus
Great for making quick prototype mock-ups. I thought it was rated at 2.5 times faster than my old printer, but it's actually 6 times faster. This speed is only good for more robust models though and the finer details can be a bit rough so if you want a clean, more precise print then you have to turn it down to 50% speed, which is around 3 times faster than my other printer. I'd also recommend getting a printer enclosure not only for dust, but because you don't want to be tempted to touch the model during printing. This thing would take a finger off and not even slow down. Anyway awesome printer, but not recommended for kids because of what I just mentioned. ... show more

  • Great upgrade from using an old Ender 3
Color: K1C
If you have been using 3d printers this will essentially be a plug and play operation. I give it 4 stars because of the difficulty with clearing filament jams. The filament jam was my fault for being impatient when removing the filament to change colors, but to clear i had to basically disassemble the extruder. For all other printing operations, it is just incredible! If you are upgrading from an Ender3, especially an older model, you will be amazed at the printing speed. The print quality is really good and i am sure with some tinkering in the slicer, it could be amazing. I am really satisfied with this printer. Now i have to decide what i will do with the Ender3. ... show more
