  • Great for beginners
Size: Ender 3 V3 SE 3d printer
I bought this on a whim cause the price was right and I was interested In 3d printing. I also bought the cr touch at same time which makes level the bed easy. Out the box it worked well but with minor upgrades the prints are perfect I did bed spring Capricorn Boden tube metal extruder and printed a side mount spool holder and roller so it has a direct feed into extruder. I’ve also did firmware update and interface update which either the rc touch made fine tuning amazing. The only issues I’ve had with it were issue created by me and my inexperience or somthing I didn’t install correctly ... show more

  • Great beginner machine
Size: Ender 3 V3 KE
It works right out of the box. A great machine to start the hobby with. Take your time and learn the ins and outs of FDM printing then the sky's the limit.

  • Had to send first one back but...
Size: Ender 3 V3 KE
The first printer I received had a faulty bed heating element as measured with an infrared thermometer tool. While it printed fine if if could get past the 1st layer (critical) then the prints were very nice however it was 80% failure rate so I sent it back. The replacement printed near flawlessly and I have only had one 1st layer not print which might have been my error. Pros: Great looking prints. Precise Fairly quiet Great value for $ Great user community in the forums Cons: No customer support. Took weeks to get a reply and then that reply wasn't even related to my issue. ... show more

  • Good starter
Size: Ender 3 V3 SE 3d printer
Fun to build, works beautifully, excellent print quality for a 200$ printer. Don’t forget you will need free cad or autodesk to design your own products. Otherwise you will have to download all print files from others.

  • Extremely disappointed in these failures. Super fast, but unreliable. No V3 KE.
Size: Ender 3 V3 KE
I loved this at first. When I first got it, I set it up almost immediately, and it ran Benchy perfectly and was extremely fast! I loved it! I ran several small-ish prints that came out pretty good, but starting with the second print, the auto-level was having small issues, leaving random bare spots too high or too low, but the rest of the auto level is perfect, no squishing or gaps between the lines. The issue grew with each print and each calibration, where the auto bed leveling was failing in different spots, causing entire prints to fail from the very first layer. I had it less than a week and was already having issues, and with no manual leveling like my other printers, there was no way to alter the bed. If this was just the first week, I just got a defective one. Fine. I returned it for a replacement, sometimes there are just an unlucky one. My second one I got and set up immediately. Just like the first one, I did the initial setup and benchy was almost perfect, but the fan sounded rough. Small issue, that's fine. I throw a filament guide on there and it prints it out perfectly with the PLA that came with it. I try it again with a Creality Matte PLA, slowed it down, and the filament guide comes out perfectly for another printer. My next print was a Tool Holder for the V3 KE. The bed adhesion and auto-leveling issues began here. A little tearing on the bottom, but it came together, being a very basic rectangular shape, the layers above will cover up the blemish on the bottom that I won't even see. I try one of the flexi dragons that I make on my other printers, estimated about half the time as my V2 Neo. I'm excited but skeptical. I printed with a brim because I know it'll need it, and it turns out okay. I can't sell it because the bottom is messed up, but by the top of the model it looked okay to display the color for a sample. I scaled the dragon up to see if increasing the footprint helped, and with 5 failures being the best first layer after 3 individual attempts, it came out about the same as the smaller one. Now I need to print a large egg for the dragon. The bottom has one small failure with the auto-leveling, I stared at it for about 3 hours and 20 minutes making sure it's working with the one failure before I go about other business, listening for anything more than the loud fan. By the end, it turns out okay with just a small 1 inch diameter spot on the bottom where it didn't properly lay the first two layers, but came together by the third layer. Having spent over 3 hours babysitting that one and it turned out fine, I try another one before I leave for work the day after that one finished. I stare at it and watch it lay down the first layer with a couple small hiccups in various places (always different somehow), but it looks like it will come together okay like the last one did. When I got home from work, expecting to see a print that was about 1/3 of the way done, I instead see a disaster area of a blob engulfing the hot end in PLA, as it appears the auto leveling issue did NOT come together, and after over 5 hours of it trying to print and just failing, it was melting upon itself. Apparently with this printer, the auto level, pressure sensitive Z Offset, and autocalibration features are great for a couple days at best. I got this one on February 2nd. Today is February 8th. Again, this V3 KE did not last a week before it catastrophically messed itself up trying to do something it claimed it can do. I will be returning this and not ordering another V3 KE again. The first one was frustrating, but sometimes things slip through the cracks. I get it. Getting two that had the same issue, enough to the point that if I didn't watch it for at least an hour on the first one to see if it would come together or not, and for the second one for me to trust it like I trust all my other 3d printers to print, only to bury its own hot end in PLA over the course of hours screams to me a lack of quality control or reliable machines. I may have to cut out Creality printers from future purchases altogether with my luck. I am extremely disappointed in this. ... show more

  • Excellent starter printer
Size: Ender 3 V3 SE 3d printer
As a newbie to 3D printing I wanted a machine that would help me learn and this is the machine for that. If you want a plug and print machine this is not for you. If you want a machine you put together and learn from then look no further. With the help of a YouTube video (and a few rewind moments), I got this little printer up and running. Print quality is great for the price, better than I expected. There are some layer lines but that’s to be expected at this price point, and nothing that a little sanding can’t sort. There’s also mods that can be done which again are a great learning opportunity, I have way more understanding of how these printers work and therefore how to troubleshoot any issues than if I hadn’t gone this route. The only issue I foresee is the urge to buy another printer, and yes I’ll build that one too. Happy printing! ... show more
