  • Work nice
Color: Sonic Pad
Had some issues getting it set up. There was a step that somehow I was not finding or seeing and I was missing. Took sometime gets set app, but once I got everything. Forget out by watching a video on youtube. works great. The only issue I've had, which I don't know if it's what or how I'm doing. when I change SD cards to bring in my files. I sometimes have a hard time getting it to recognize the card. ... show more

  • A joy to use
Color: Sonic Pad
About as sweet of a Klipper experience as I can imagine, I didn't want the hassle of installing Klipper on a Pi or phone or laptop or any of the software compiling stuff. It was all done for me, well worth the money. Just don't get too confused when you plug it in to get a "charge" and plug it out and it won't power up... this isn't a tablet, it has no battery (slaps forehead). I installed an available update before I ever installed a printer to it, so if there are any quirks based on early versions of software, I couldn't know about them. Using the sonic padvitself is great, but controlling everything on your pc (or mobile device I imagine) by entering the pads IP address into your browser (you can pin the site to your Taskbar for quick access) is even sweeter. I haven't walked to the printer with an SD card with a print file since purchase. Works FABULOUSLY with Orca Slicer 2.0, the printer control page is right in there (moonraker I think) and there is an incorporated "print" button that allows you to both print the file instantly and just send the file to the Sonic pads hard drive... oh, and the option to ignore a failed print when printing multiple items on the same bed surface at the same time is live and works well and is performed from moonraker (not sure about from the pad itself)... only good things to say, I just haven't had it long enought to speak to its durability. ... show more

  • Still Improving
Color: Sonic Pad
This was my first exposure to Klipper, I've been using Marlin for years. I'd have to say that I'm really happy with the ease of converting my printers, I have two Creality Ender 3 Max Neos and the Sonic Pad is set up to convert these with just a few touches of the screen. The prints come out fine, I wouldn't say that I see any improvements in results or in the speed but I do like having multiple printers on one touch screen and being able to access them from one web address. My biggest issue is with the webcam interface, be careful that you only connect one of their approved cameras. I connected a different camera and started getting all kinds of weird things happening. Prints would auto-pause on the last layer or two, still can't figure out how the camera caused that but after removing the camera everything is back to normal. ... show more

  • Next level
Color: Sonic Pad
I am fairly new to the 3d printing world and am also an impatient person so when I started printing larger parts and got into longer and longer print times I immediately searched for a way to speed the process up but also keep the quality in check. The sonic pad is a must have for anybody wanting to take their prints to the next level! Cut print times in half, gain a large amount of tuneability while also making the user interface even more fun to use all while being fairly cheap. Add in the setup guides on YouTube and it's a win win! 10/10 would recommend as a must have for anybody looking to upgrade their stock creality/ender printer. ... show more

  • Recieved a used unit with missing parts
Color: Sonic Pad
So I couldn’t wait to receive the sonic pad for a huge business project and when I did first thing I noticed was the unit had finger prints on it, the manual had crinkles in it and I was missing the G sensor! So in order for me to get the G sensor cause I was willing to overlook the used unit Amazon tells me I have to return the whole thing! Now, mistakes happen yes no one is perfect however good customer service is what makes up for that and in this case was no help! NOTE!! This might sound strange but in order for you to install this unit it tells you to plug the usb plug int to the sonic pad to flash drive it then in the printers! My printer does not have a usb port so why wouldn’t they supply you with an SD card? It might not be a big deal but imagine being a new at 3D printing and this happens! I wouldn’t say the unit is super easy to install so now you’re trying to figure out how to get the data onto your printer! Just saying they cheaped out at the finish line! And QC is lacking! So I give it 1 star cause I can’t tell you how it is to have it running🤷🏻♂️ ... show more

  • Works and is spinning flawlessly
Color: Filament Spool Holder
I purchased this with the expectation it’ll smooth out the pull on the filament and keep a somewhat accurate expectation of how much was left on a roll. There are options in terms of how to manage what is available left on the spool. Make sure you weigh an empty spool to determine an accurate weigh.

  • Not a bad set, just a bad case
Color: Tool Wrap Kit
Overall I like this tool set, it provides everything I tend to need when printing. The only complaint is the case. Structure is sound, however the tools will NOT stay in place, no matter how carefully I close it. I don't carry this thing around, it stays on my print station but anytime I open the case I have at least 3 or 4 tools come flying out, falling to the floor. ... show more

Great for anyone diving into 3D printing. With 35 pieces encompassing 18 different types of tools, it covers everything from screwdrivers to pliers. The ABS storage toolbox is a neat addition, keeping everything organized and within reach. A must-have for cleaning and finishing 3D prints.
