I bought these about a year ago for my preteen even though she was a preteen, she liked playing with them. Now I have a grandson who is autistic. When he came over we decided to play with them. I would throw them up onto the ceiling and as they dropped one by one on to him, he laughed so hard and thought it was so hysterical. I also threw them against the wall and as they rolled down on the wall he enjoyed that also. This kept him entertained for quite a bit. They do get dirty easy but all you have to do is rinse them off with water and let them dry a little bit and they're good to use again.
