Well this mattress exceeded my expectations. It is very comfortable and sturdy. I ordered a mattress topper for extra comfort but didn’t really need it because it was comfortable without it. Ordered this plus a metal bed platform for my mom because I was sick of sleeping in an air mattress when I visited. I got the plush and it’s extremely comfortable! My mom slept in it and she likes it better than her extensive Serta mattress. I was also pleasantly surprised that the mattress didn’t have any sort of plastic-y or chemical smell, since I’ve heard that is common in these types of mattresses that come in air-sealed plastic. I let it expand for 24 hours before using but I honestly think it was ready to be used within a few hours. I did have trouble opening the plastic roll at first because I couldn’t find the “tool” it came with and had to carefully use scissors (which I wanted to avoid doing). Overall, I’m pleased with this mattress and will probably purchase it again for my own guest room in the future.
