This works AMAZING! I have clay and shale soil. It goes right through the clay. I do have to use my hand shovel to break up the shale, but this works REALLY well! I tried to be cheap and get a dibber 1/2 the price and it is 1/2 the size and didn’t go as deep and wasn’t as strong and wasn’t big enough for my tulip bulbs. It Broke on the first use. This didn’t bat an eye. It digs the holes deep, plenty big and easily considering the soil type. I’m as cheap as they come and I will spare you the hassle. Spend the money and get this. It’s made extremely solid and worth the money! I planted 30 bulbs with this in about an hour and a half with a bad back, bad knees and treacherous soil (including walking and stretching breaks LOL!!)

Used this to plant my beans this year. It worked as it was supposed to. I liked the size and that it has markings on it to show you now deep it was making the hole. Easy to grip. I expect it to last a long time, because it is solid wood with a metal tip.

This Seed Dibber Garden Tool worked really well and did exactly what I needed. I was planting over 100 tulip and hyacinth bulbs along my driveway but there are lots of stray roots from old shrubs and trees that use to be in that section of the yard. After spending the time to dig out a trench alongside the driveway to get rid of most of the larger trunks and roots this allowed me to make a nice sized hole deep into the ground for the smaller bulbs. Very sturdy and useful. Highly recommend.

Size: Long-Handled Bulb Planter
Quality tool that makes transplanting easier. Use this for transplanting my larger seedlings into the garden. Usually start seedings in Jan or Feb and these plants do get big with flowering by May. Gets to enjoy harvest sooner this way. Would love to see a larger version of this bulb planter for larger seedlings/plants, maybe 4 to 5 inches wide on the bottom will be ideal for transplanting into my 2 acre garden.
