Copper is the harder of the metals to drill through so high grade copper in steering wheel locks is a must. 2) The key hole is in a convenient spot for the key holder, but in an inconvenient spot for the burglar to place his drill. Because Corvettes are in high demand for thieves I decided to explore additional security for my 20 year old mint condition eye candy 2005 C6 Corvette as enhanced protection with existing alarms installed & Smith & Wesson, Berretta Carry. I came across this device because not only is it made strong, it has a loud alarm & slow blinking red led -it looks cool. If this saves us a smashed window from a parking lot thief it has done it's job. The only way to get your car now is if the saw the wheel or tow it. For $50.00 it is a smart investment. I have a different yellow one with an alarm for my Silverado for over 17 years no attempts, but they do not make it anymore it looks great as well as a deterrent I use it every time I park. I decided It is time for another one for the Vette. No Theft attempts in over 2 decades but why gamble. I am lucky. It says CAR LOCK on the gloss decal under clear plastic. I bought two of these barely 4 months ago. Today the one for my wife's car no longer works. It will not grip the steering wheel and lock in closed position. Key turns just fine, but device no longer function. Four months...WtH? Now I'm waiting for mibe to do the same or worse and not open/unlock. Shopping for relacements for both steering wheel locks, but definitely a different brand!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We were in the market for one of these steering wheel locks for my sister, she’s going to Mexico for two weeks and they are leaving her car on their parking lot at her house cause it doesn’t fit on their car garage since it’s only for two cars, so she asked me to find one for her. After checking many I think this one is the best to go for, it has two thick stainless steel bars which are very thick, but also additional to the two bars has an even thicker one main bar, but only if the three of them are sawn off this lock can be dismantled, it’ll take a while to do it and anyone will be tired on the first 10 minutes, but anyway the alarm goes off within 8 seconds, enough to make anyone run, plus is loud 130 decibel and a striking LED light. Overall easy to install, piece of mind knowing your car will be safe, very sturdy and well constructed. Recommended. ... show more

The steering wheel angle of my car is small, so it is obviously loose and easy to slide when I first lock it. I thought it was not suitable. However, I found later that the hex screwdriver included in the product package can be used to adjust the lock size. After adjustment, it locks very stably now, and this lock can easily break the glass window under emergency. I like it a lot!! ... show more
