This product works as advertised and makes snow removal 1000% easier than shoveling. It's a good value for the money. It definitely required two people to install it. I think it took us about 90 minutes start to finish. I got through my first winter with it without any issue and found it easy to remove at the end of the season. It is moderately rugged.     • I should have bought this years ago
After experiencing prices for snow removal continually increase, I looked into adding this to my Craftsman lawn tractor. Granted, the installation was a little tricky, but all of the parts were there. As this product is designed for multiple models, you WILL have parts left over. make sure you read all of the directions and keep key parts lubricated. As others have mentioned, it's somewhat difficult to change the angle of the blade, but I got the hang of it quickly. Chains are a must. I ordered the Peerless chains (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GDLJS28/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Note their sizing guide is with the documentation near the bottom of the page. You'll also need to add weight. I had trouble finding an adequate commercial solution and instead went with sandbags. One is draped across the center beneath my legs. The other is in a 5 gallon bucket wired to the back. With a little practice, I got the hang of this in no time. ... show more

When we got it box was torn with parts sticking out. Parts bags torn open. Missing parts. Scratches all over every part. Called manufacturers they were supposed to issue me a scratch and dent discount never got it. Still trying to get them to issue it

This plow has made a huge difference for us, we have a large driveway with multiple angles and a hill, it works great! Just need to oil up the hinge each use in severe cold(under 20 degrees F) as ice can build up over time and make it have to raise and lower. It moves the snow well, and I actually like how the snow is pushed with this over our plow guy. No more grass to patch up. ... show more

Lots of sellers send easy to identify hardware for assembly of furniture. This took me 5 times longer than it needed to. If you have wits about you, you can figure it out. Wasn't made for it but I installed on 30" rear engine craftsman, had to modify the mounting brackets had to heat and bend some and drilled new holes, I am amazed how well this works, neighbor has cub cadet with chains and this works better than his, didn't know if I would need chains or added weight on the back for traction, with the engine in the rear and big lug rear tires this thing does fantastic. cleans driveway and sidewalks easily. easily attaches with 4 bolts. have no problem raising, lowering or adjusting angle of blade. ... show more

    • Poor quality but can be made to work
Welds snapped on one of the blade supports on the first push of 1" snow making the unit useless. Was able to weld it back on and make it functional again. This thing was such a nightmare to put together it was not worth taking it apart and getting an exchange so I lived with it. Beware of the poor quality in the welds, if possible check them before learning the hard way like I did. Once I got it welded back together it worked well, that's the only reason it got 2 stars. But the instructions are garbage, the welds are garbage, and it's quite loose in the packaging so it comes scratched all to hell. ... show more
