I have 2 window suction cup bird feeders I used to fill with black oil sunflower seeds which attracted a variety of birds but made a mess with shells everywhere. Since I started filling them with the Lyric Delite mix I don't have to clean them as often and there has been an increase in the number and variety of birds visiting the feeder. Today I had purple and house finches, red crossbill, black capped chicadees, blue jays, male and female cardinals, titmice, Downee woodpecker, northern mockingbird and sparrows. Seems expensive but actually quite reasonable when you factor in no waste left behind. And no crappy filler seeds that birds don't eat. Was impressed that this mix included almonds and pistachios! Like the fact it didn't have corn which the birds in my neighborhood never touch. Have to use a mortar and pestle to break down the seeds sor the smaller finches and juncos that come to visit our patio.

I got one of those clear bird feeders that suctions to a window so you can see them eat up close, and the squirrels haven’t been able to get to it (or they haven’t figured out that it’s there yet). I had to end up pouring some of the food inside of a plastic Ziploc bag and then pounding it with a hammer in order to break up the peanuts because they were jamming my tube feeder. Worked fine after I broke them up if you don't mind taking the extra time to do so. Only took a couple minutes to do so however this may be an inconvenient for many people. ... show more

My gf bought this so our cat could have some “ cat tv “ while we weren’t home and I was shocked when she told me how expensive it was until we got it. This stuff is literally trail mix haha. Like I could eat some on a hike and be sustained lol. I can’t complain because it is really good but almost feel like it’s too high quality for local squirrels haha ... show more
