Great looking and sounding doorbell! The pipes on each side are a thick metal and the black cover is plastic but very quality. The pipes are definitely more brass/gold than copper, not sure why their picture looks like copper, but I read reviews ahead of time and that is what we wanted anyway. Finally a real doorbell that makes the classic ding sound! The two metal tubes make a wonderful loud crisp sound that cannot be matched. Installation was easy to hardwire and mounted very nicely. The color matched the rest of our home accessories beautifully. All in all I highly recommend this!

I am generally happy with the doorbell. The only complaint I have is the cover is a little flimsy. It sags under its own weight and the tabs securing it don’t engage very tightly. Other than that, it sounds great and works reliably.

This product arrived falling apart in the box. A nut had fallen off that attaches the one ring bar to the unit. Luckily, the nut was rattling around in the box. After disassembling the unit, I was able to fix it. It seems cheaply made but in the end, the installation was simple and it sounds great. It is quite a bit louder than our previous doorbell. I do recommend it but wish more attention was paid to details in the assembly process. Update 1/4/25 - This unit stopped working. I opened it up and saw that the coil had melted. This may have happened because the doorbell button that I purchased with this unit jammed. It was pressed and wouldn't spring back which may have caused this unit to melt. This is a cheaply made doorbell and the doorbell button is too. ... show more

    • I guess it was OK but I killed it
Poor instructions. Replacing an old unit, guess I somehow wired it wrong, it heated up the plunger to the point it wouldn't work. Kept sticking "on." Guess I'll have to get an electrician. Very disappointed but don't think it was the product's fault.
