Love this for a field jacket! It's not thick and bulky, but the double layer of twill and flannel is perfect for chilly days. The adjustable cuffs and side tabs give it an adjustable fit - I keep it more fitted when I'm wearing it over a tshirt. Add in the convenience of being able to toss it into the washing machine. This was a good find!

The jacket wreaks of mold & was shipped in only a "return bag" (the general clear bag with green trim used by Amazon). But, the design is great. I have very broad shoulders, a 50" chest, 40" waist, 50" hips, 5' 2" height & the XXL fit fairly well. There's an attched partial "belt" which works great to slightly tailor the fit, especially when there's a 10" difference between hips & waist, and waist & bust. My husband really liked the effect of using the snaps of this "belt" to smaller waist, as it's figure flattering. The snaps and zipper work with no problems. There's 6 pockets! I love this feature. There's 2 sort of chest pockets that are hidden (my husband really liked this feature). There's "hand pockets" about upper hip level, and on top of each hand pocket are pockets with snap closure. The sewing was nicely done, no noticeable loose threads. The interior is a beautiful 100% cotton flannel, exterior a denim. I love the jacket and wish I could keep it, but I am asthmatic and the mold is triggering. Also, sending a moldy (mildew odor) jacket that costs $80+ is not good business (Amazon). Now I have to wait *again* to get a well designed jacket that's 100% cotton and will fit my large build. My favorite color of the interior flannel is the turquoise/teal, which was sold out. This is a 3 season jacket for probably half of the USA, because it's lightweight but does have the 2 layers of cotton. Good for layering. Probably best for spring and autumn in most states that have "4 seasons." I've rated the jacket 4 stars for all the named positive points. Minus a star for lack of size chart and for receiving a musty, moldy jacket. I will give the seller another chance, because they weren't the ones who fulfilled the order & I do have a men's flannel shirt by CQR that I like & is good.

I LOVE this jacket. I’ve been looking for an affordable barn jacket for a long time and am so glad I bought this one. I was worried that it wouldn’t fit well through the arms and shoulders but it fits like a dream. Usually jackets and coats that are big enough for me aren’t very flattering but this one has snaps at the waist that give it a more tailored look. It’s really soft and comfortable and perfect. Love the color (brown with plaid details) as well. This was a great find.

CQR womens cotton twill jacket is the perfect jacket for my needs. It is really lovely, very comfortable and beautifully made. It's really a very good looking jacket for everyday and weekends. I am very pleased with this jacket. I wear a size 12 but ordered an XL, I think a L would have fit me too. But now if I wear a heavy sweater underneath I won't feel it's too tight.

This jacket is really cute and I love everything about it EXCEPT for its major fatal flaw which is that the snaps rip off within seconds of taking it out of the bag! I ordered one, took it out and put it on and tried to adjust a snap on the sleeve and it ripped off with the slightest pull on it. So I returned it and ordered another, hoping this one I would not use the snaps at all. Well, the second one arrived ALREADY MISSING a SNAP! See the pictures of the snap right at the front of the neckline literally taped back! It arrived to my house like that in the bag with tape covering the broken snap. Outrageous they would send a clearly damaged product! And for $70+, I don't think so! It really stinks the quality of this is so poor because the jacket is otherwise adorable and just what I was looking for. And snap issues aside, this jacket should be around $40 considering the weight and quality. Very disappointed!

This is my go-to fall coat. It's perfect for when it's just a little chilly, and it's simple enough that it goes with everything. I was skeptical about the quality, but it's held up well for over a year of very frequent wear. It's also nice that it has so many pockets, and that they're all quite large. I didn't notice from the pictures that there is an extra pocket behind the buttoned front pockets, so you do have somewhere to put your hands to keep them warm. My only complaint is that it runs a little small. I'm 5 feet tall, 105lbs and the extra small is quite tight in the shoulders. Not very noticeable when I'm only wearing a t-shirt, but I can't comfortably wear this over a sweater.

What I really wanted was a flannel shirt-jacket I could put on to wear outside to work on our property in the cooler weather. However, I really like this jacket! It is fairly fitted, but I'm still recovering from having babies and I think it will be more roomy after I stop nursing in a year or so! It is warm, I wore it instead of my coat a lot this winter and it was definitely warm enough. I'm 5'8" so this comes down just about to my hips. Ideally I like a jacket to come down below my hips. However, I have bought several CQR clothing items for my husband and kids over the years, this was the first I purchased for myself, and I am never disappointed by the quality!
