Exactly as expected. It is a nice foot stool, that has a small space for storage. It fit a full sized cotton throw. I love how it is versatile to a small coffee table. It works well for apartment living, or small space living. It is sturdy and comfortableto sit on. I weigh 155#-160#, and it had absolutely no trouble holding my weight... so, it definitely won't have any trouble for resting tired feet! The fabric is soft, and pleasing to the touch. The color is exactly as described. The legs were easy to assemble when it came. I would recommend this product.
