I think this is a great starter machine, if just that. For all that's included it comes at a decent price. So this is my first go round with an espresso machine. I've spent the last two weeks, mastering my technique and finding that perfect extraction and taste for me. Please don't get caught up in all the reviews, and other online saga of what YOUR espresso should be. It's yours and should taste as such. Aside from that. This machine is very consistent once you learn it. It pulls the same exact shot EVERY time. And that's what you need once you figure out your grind preferences and tamp. Consistency is key, for me. This machine has that. It's extremely easy to use and cleaning is as easy as completing an empty shot and frothing water or making hot water. Once grinded the grounds stay good in the bean hopper for up to two days. I grind a bunch in advance and store in a container. Cause that's really the most complicated part of this machine, is grinding and then cleaning the grinder. The frother does consistently leak into the drip tray. The manual (read this) actually states that it does, and it's normal. And it's an easy clean. It's what the drip tray is designed for. Why it slides so far under the machine. It does not take from the functionality and greatness of this machine. Pressure is consistent. Shot is hot. You can customize the amount of extraction and the temperature. Read the manual. I've abused this machine the last two weeks. I've banged up the portafilter, not knowing any better. I really am brand new to this. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with this machine. It's extremely easy to use, and it's so consistent. I get the same amount and the same taste espresso. Every. Single. Time. I absolutely love this machine. Love the design. The size is great. Looks great on my counter. Doesn't take up too much room. The top holds everything I need. Oh the frother.. again read the manual. You need to warm it up a bit. Turn it on and let it steam until it's steaming consistent. Turn it off. Stick your preferred milk or cream under. Turn it back on. Occasionally, maybe 3x in the last two weeks I've had it turn off in the middle of steaming. Apparently it wasn't warmed up enough or something. Not enough to deter use. Not enough for me to take stars. Extremely happy with this machine. Impressed. 100% recommend! Great value here!

Style: Espresso Machine Plus
This espresso machine has been in our house for a couple months now. I've waited to write the review till I'd put it through its paces. First of all, it's a very simple machine, and it took only a couple tries to figure out how to operate it, and even the first shot was quite good. Follow the recommended instructions to keep the grinder at the middle setting and you won't (without an extreme level of force) over-pack the cups. You'll get more pressure out of the double-wall and less out of the single wall filters. I did go ahead and follow the instructions to set the coffee temperature up one notch. That would be the most difficult thing I've done. It did give us a warning that (when we looked at the instructions) indicated we should clean the machine. Cleaning according to the manual was simple. The only other warning was that there was no water, which is pretty obvious, but didn't make sense at the time. I thought the machine was broken. The tray has a little red indicator for when the drip tray needs to be emptied. This is pretty handy, and way better than an electrical sensor that can fail. The dosing of the grinder is automatic, but it always doses too much, so I just push the button to make it stop, tamp it down a bit and add some more until it's at the right level. Don't pack too much in or it will not fit in place. Don't force to fit or you could probably break something. I do like this machine a lot. It still looks nice despite several dozens of cups a week through it for over a month. I'm not a frothy-drink kind of person, but others have used the steamer and provided no complaints. For an all-in-one machine, I would like something to knock out the pucks after use. I end up needing to use a butter knife, but I have a knock box coming that should resolve the last complaint. Oh, and did I mention the coffee quality is delicious? I used to drink 3 cups from my Jura automatic coffee maker every day. Now I'm substituting 1-2 shots of espresso instead. It's the same coffee beans, but I do prefer the well-made espresso over a solid Jura coffee for the full bodied flavor. The only thing I'd change would be to make sure the machine is intuitive enough to not need the instructions. I'm afraid I'll not figure it out if I were to lose the laminated instructions sheet. But after the initial setup, I think it may be ok.
