I didn't connect my freezers ice maker because I hate the taste of the water. This Lil machine gives me ice, without using those old fashioned ice trays in the freezer. But I had to get used to the sound.

Bought this to use when we are having a party so guests wouldn’t have to use the ice in the cooler to put in their drinks. It does make cube quickly about even 7-9 mins, but since the cubes are small (even on the large setting) you only get about a quarter of a glass of ice. So if you have anyone like me, who prefers a glass of ice for their drink, then you are waiting quite a while to get a glass full. And because the machine is compact which is a plus for it fitting on the counter, the negative is that it has a small receptacle for the ice it makes. At the start of a party, that is a problem, but as the party goes on, it does seem to keep up with the demand. I just feel like the price tag of $99 is a lot for what you actually get, but overall I am glad to have it for when I need it.

I highly recommend this ice maker. It lives up to the claim about fast ice. It fits perfectly on our counter and makes ice fast and keeps making it. The only complaint is that it's a bit loud. But all and all 100% reccommend
