Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love love love this ice machine! I'm disabled and go through quite a bit of ice and got tired of waiting for others to be home to bring me ice. Great that it makes good solid little bullets cubes (sm&lg) not that half frozen crunchy stuff. The cubes actually last in your cup longer than 30 minutes. It makes ice continuously, If you don't use it , it melts and remakes it. Ice speed: You get nine ice cubes in about 10 minutes and it just keeps making ice till its out of water. Ice quality: Bullet shaped solid ice cubes. Not the crunchy stuff you get out of some other machines that melt in your cup in 10 minutes Size: The size of the machine has not too large, doesn't take up too much space in my little makeshift kitchenette.

It seems to be a great product and that we never run out of ice at each meal time. I think we fill the reservoir once a day currently so I wouldn’t be surprised if we use more come July and August. I look forward to having ice in my drinks all year round now. I like the size even though the manufacturer calls it “large”. I guess the large size is equivalent to about a small sewing thimble.

I've only had the machine running for 1 day so if needed I'll come back to edit my review. Easy to set up and takes up about the same space as my big Keurig machine. My biggest problem currently with it, is they claim it's quiet and it most definitely is not, I have a smaller ice machine at work and the only time I hear that is when the ice is dropping, this one is always running loudly...I'll give it a couple days but might return it just for that reason!

But I have to tell you this is my fourth icemaker (different brands) because the other four died ,3 of them never really worked ! I’ve had this about a month and I am very pleased with it. It makes ice wonderfully even in the 95° heat we had. But as a precaution I did get extended warranty. I would buy this again.

Arrived quickly. Read instructions, plugged in, filed with water. It made it's first ice cubes quickly, but they also melted in the bin after about 10 minutes. That was the last ice it made. It started having an electrical smell and would no longer freeze water. Unit unplugged and tried again the next morning, and immediate burning plastic smell. Item is being returned.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. It was great until we noticed in the morning when we went to get ice to make ice coffee there would be very little ice in the bucket. It has sensors at the top so when the ice bucket is full it will stop making ice. As the ice slowly melts it will make more ice. The problem is when the ice bucket is full, ice gets stuck on top of the bucket where the sensors are. So as the ice melts the ice that is stuck next to the sensors are stopping the machine from making more ice. We have to constantly knock the ice down away from the sensors so it will continue to make ice. Aint nobody got time for that. Other than that it’s good.
