Pretty straightforward replacement for your Ford's ambient air sensor. I just needed this for the pigtail to replace a broken connector from my bumper harness. Worked perfectly with the existing sensor (which was still working). Now I have a spare.

Fixed my ac issue after new tow mirrors installed on my 2018 ford f150 xlt. I was able to tap into the old location of the ambient sensor wiring provided at the front grill by the hood latch.

After installing the new sensor connector, I had to drive the car for a few miles before the temperature gauge showed the correct outside temperature. I had read about others having to do the same, so don't be alarmed if you install this and it doesn't immediately show the correct temperature. It's only been a couple of days since I installed it, but it seems to work just fine ... show more

    • When you first plug it in it shows wrong temp but wait a little bit.
Order was shipped and received quickly. When I first plugged it in I thought it didn't work. The temp was stuck at 32 degrees. Then I went for a drive and it started working I think it had to come up to ambient temp before it started working . Great overall

Didn't work, comes pre-asembled, disconnected plug from sensor and found they bent one of the pins during assembly, bent back in place and started working.
