I was skeptical of countertop dishwashers, because like a lot of things, it just seems like something that wouldn't be as good as a full sized, built in dishwasher. However, I have been proven wrong in my skepticism by this unit. I had a dishwasher at my previous apartment, but I ended up moving to a smaller location with very little counter space and no room for a dishwasher. Having a dishwasher sounds like a luxury, but when your sink is as small as the one I live with, its very difficult to stay on top of dishes even if you're only cooking once. I finally got fed up and bought this one after doing some research. I gave up a chunk of my limited counter space, but it was so worth it. While this unit can't hold too many dishes at once, it definitely washes the amount you'd need for a dinner for two. (a couple of bowls or plates, silverware, cooking utensils, etc.) To test the usability of this unit, I went ahead and worked it several times a day for the last month. I tried to push it to the limit by running it continuously while I cook and clean. I've tested every function it has aside from hooking it up to a faucet with the hose, only due to the threading on the hose being wildly large for a standard american kitchen faucet. (Maybe if I was using it outside, where a hose might go...) As far as water consumption goes, it uses roughly 1 gallon of tap water per load, and about a tablespoon of detergent. I rarely use any of the wash cycles other than quick wash (29 mins wash time; 60 min dry cycle), it does a great job and never leaves any stains on my dishes. Follow the standard protocol for dishwasher usage (scrape food before placing dishes in the basket... people please, food waste doesn't just dissolve...) The unit is about as loud as you'd expect it to be, given that its probably not going to be in an insulated cabinet. It's really not that bad. This unit is awesome and hasn't disappointed me one bit! If you have a small kitchen and need a dishwasher, I can't recommend anything else!

I had to return the first one i received, but the second one works well (if i had gotten timely replies on the first one from the sender, i think i could have gotten it to work). It cleans well even on the quick clean cycle. Fits nicely on the counter and drains into the sink. It’s inconvenient not to be able to always keep it plugged in, but i have it on a strip that i can easily turn off when not in use. Love it!

I've never seen inside a dishwasher before. It doesn't look like it sprays everywhere like I expected but then maybe they are all like this. upper corners getting worst water coverage. Some of the similar small units out there look like they may have a better arrangement of the rack; but this is not a big deal. My main gripe is the basket doesn't seem to fit well even where it should go, but can't be placed in any other location. It seems to me it would be better on a shelf instead of the cups? It has a cheap plastic pitcher to fill it but I think that should just be left out; just another thing too nice to trash but too cheap to use for much else. Also, I intend to permanently hook this up; no need for it. The controls would be better if they were faced forward a bit more than up; short people can hardly see them. The soap dispenser is a joke but then it probably doesn't need one anyway. The trick is going to be not buying PODs which are overkill for small units like this. In my testing... and viewing of it... The results were as good as the traditional unit it replaces. It's not loud, better than expected. Heated water does not get as high as the manual indicates. I measured it. I did not get to hooking it up to the hot water line which is what I will do in the future... I think it wasn't designed to handle colder than average water; it could use a bit stronger heater - but I think my hot water line should fix this... or if I run a coil of hose to warm to room temp since this uses so little water that wouldn't be a problem. Like all the others I looked at, this does not have a garbage disposal integrated; my old one did and you can put most anything into that thing. These require fairly clean plates or the internal strainer will be needing constant emptying... Though I kind of look forward to the year when this unit breaks so I have an excuse to hack the thing... It looks like it will be repairable although not likely with standardized parts... doubt there are many of those these days anyway. As far as design; I wish somebody would make the internal water tank and funnel a removable part of the back of the unit, allowing for a little more internal height. you lose some depth but you could then remove it to shrink it's dimensions if plumbing it in. If you're using it portable, I'd guess a little added depth wouldn't be a big deal. Whatever... someday I will drastically enhance it.

Love it for what it is. Small, if you're used to an under counter dishwasher, but perfect for everyday dishes. Could use an extra rinse cycle, only used 1 Cascade Platinum Pod and still a little sudsy, but overall things came out super clean using a lot less water.

I have stenosis in the lower part of my spine. I live in a house that was built in the 50s and made of cinderblock so putting in a real size dishwasher was not an option. I found this and thought what the heck I will give it a try this has been a blessing and has been a miracle worker it has made my life so much easier. It’s just me and my other half so it’s not that big of a deal. Yes sometimes I may have to run two loads But it’s awesome. I don’t care it has made my life in the kitchen. A whole lot easier would definitely recommend this. It cleans a whole lot better than what I really expected to so it has come beyond my expectations. I’ve had it for at least six months now.

Bought with the hopes to make life a little easier but had to immediately return. The box and packing stuff was all dry but as I unveiled the machine, it was dripping. I saw condensation inside (photo) but the outside was mostly dry. The water intake had mold in it (photo) and that was when I gave up and repacked it for return. Guess I’ll continue to hand wash my dishes.
