I had the original Kindle years ago and never really enjoyed using it. The Paperwhite is similar but so much better. Could it be even better? Sure. As an e-reader however it is fantastic. Long battery life, easy on the eyes. This cover came as part of a bundle and it is perfect. It fits well, as it should, and holds itself open magnetically while in use and puts the device to sleep when closed. Easy to grip and barely noticeable when in use.

The battery on my 7-8 year old Kindle was getting tired, so I decided to finally replace it with a newer, larger model. I love the Kindle and have been a user since they first came out. I read about an hour a day and also travel with it, so it gets stuffed in my backpack a lot. Though I always use a case of some sort. - The larger screen is really nice, to me it was worth a few extra bucks. - I use Libby with my Library Card and can borrow books for free. Awesomeness. - Didn't think I'd noticed the increased resolution, but the finer resolution, contrast, and tinting makes reading really similar to a book. If fact, I read a real life paper book last month and found the Kindle more comfortable. - Battery life is loooong. I can spend all day in the airport or on a train and not worry about running low. I'm on week 2 of daily use and still at only 50%. All in all, I'm very happy with the Kindle and the price. Note: I splurged on the official Kindle cover-case, which is top notch and provides needed protection for traveling. It's super slim and fits like a glove. And it's kinda cool that the Kindle turns on/off when you open/close it. A little extra money than my older cheap case, but money well spent.

This case has kept my Kindle protected for 18 months of being knocked around in my purse and it has held up well. It's thin and light enough that it doesn't add noticeable bulk, and the bright pink color is genuinely practical as it's easy to spot at the bottom of my bag. The design is thoughtful in small ways. The USB-C port stays accessible without removing the case, the cover folds all the way back when you're reading, and the magnetic closure snaps shut satisfyingly and wakes the Kindle automatically when opened. The fact that it's made of recycled materials are a nice bonus. One honest caveat: the fabric shows stains and spot treating has had mixed results. The case texture does help hide some of that but not fully. Stubborn marks are going to be hard to get out fully, so if you are fussy about your case's appearances, go in knowing that.

Love this case! It's so slim and light that I barely notice it in my bag. The fabric cover feels nice in my hands and protects my Kindle Colorsoft from scratches. I love this color and have gotten several compliments on it. The only issue I have with these covers is long term durability. Whatever they use to finish the edges with peels off easily and then the fabric starts to fray a bit. I use my kindle daily and this has already started to occur in less than a year of use. But the fit is perfect since these are made my Amazon and they protect my kindle, so I will keep using them.

I recently got this Kindle Paperwhite and the matching Colorsoft case for my 12-year-old daughter.
