This seller definitely took no chances with shipping, the dishwasher arrived in what can only be described as an armored box via FedEx. No dings or dents. The unit itself is excellent and operates every bit as well as.my built in, just slightly smaller. SPT also clearly addressed installation error issues by taping the o-rings to their intended connections. It's quiet, dishes come out hot, dry and clean, stainless steel interior is nice, unit looks good. Using it with an 8 foot faucet quick connect hose, the pump has no issues expelling the water a foot above itself. Only downside is the Stargate SG1 like symbols that they use on the display, you will have to learn some heiroglyphics. If you're on the fence, get it, its a really good dishwasher. ... show more

    • Does not dry dishes at all
I gave it 4 stars because it is a dishwasher and it does wash your dishes but like a lot of the comments say it does not dry the dishes very well at all. After my dishes are washed from the dishwasher they are soaked like the dishwasher did not even dry them other than that it is a cool dishwasher

Dishwasher works great. Takes about 2.5 hrs for the normal wash, but it's very silent and cleans great. We did a more permanent install. Purchased a Dishwasher kit for the installation of the cold water line and discharge line to our garbage disposal. The discharge connection on the Dishwasher is unique to anything homedepot had. So had to cut and reuse the one that came with the machine and use a 1/2" to 5/8" plastic barb connector from homedpot to connect to the garbage disposal line. But love it. Machine only uses the cold water line and heats the water itself. Came very well packaged and protected. ... show more

All the reviews said to set it up with the SD card so I have to wait. As far as delivery speed, I am very pleased. The camera looks great too! Can't wait to use it. ! I was hesitant to purchase because of the reviews, but I'm glad I took a chance! I followed the instructions that said to lay the dishwasher on its side to install the hoses to avoid leaks, which was my primary concern. It also made it easier to achieve the positioning of the hoses the instructions recommended. You don't have to, but I purchased extended hoses too to reach further and had no problems or leaking at all. I did need a different adapter to connect to the faucet than the one that was included, but I anticipated that because of the reviews and bought a kit with several sizes. I bought the Amazon brand dish washing detergent packs and some jet dry rinse aid. I selected the 60min wash and was so impressed with the finished results! No spots and completely dry. It is pricey, but we'll worth it for me and I would highly recommend. ... show more

    • Terrible instructions and missing parts.
No troubleshooting or installation videos. Instructions don't tell you which hose attached to which port. Nothing is labeled. Missing parts. No troubleshooting online options. Need adapters for everything. Expensive and useless.

    • After a year, I would not buy it again
I waited a year to review, because I wanted to give this dishwasher a fair shot after my portable Kenmore of 12 years stopped working. I would not buy the SPT again due to the following: cheap plastic parts, leaking, does not dry thoroughly, and the worst of all, when you remove the hose from the faucet, it leaks everywhere. Not just a few drops, but nearly 1 1/2 cups of water. This is a design failure as it is a matter of physics. If you turn the hose upside down to put it back, water leaks everywhere. For the price, I expected a much better machine. Do yourself a favor and find a more reliable brand. ... show more
