Excellent. I used it on a 1x2 hardwood frame and it worked exactly as described and easy to use. Nice clamp that comes with it too but anything bigger than 1x2 and the clamp doesn't open wide enough so you need alternative clamps.

I picked this up as a beginner and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get started. Everything in the kit worked great right out of the box — the drill guides were simple to change, the drill bit was easy to adjust, and I appreciated that it came with some starter screws to begin my project. My only real complaint is the included clamp. If you're drilling just a handful of pocket holes, it's fine — but when you're working through a larger batch, repeatedly attaching and removing it becomes time-consuming. I ended up buying an inexpensive clamp at Lowe's that opens and closes much faster, and it worked perfectly with the jig. Other than that, I have no complaints. The jig itself is solid and genuinely easy to use, even if you've never drilled a pocket hole before. I'd recommend it — just budget a few extra dollars for a quicker clamp if you plan to drill many holes.
