I’m obsessed with this barstool. It is absolutely gorgeous and glamorous. It seems well made as well and sturdy. It’s heavy duty and in my opinion would take a lot to be tipped forward or backwards by anyone including children. It comes with all its parts and hardware necessary for assembly. Putting it together was quick and straightforward. All the parts looks to be of high quality. It’s very comfortable for my family especially the kids. The 360 swivel of the seat is perfect and convenient for the kids getting on and off easily. Big plus as well is that it’s extremely easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth after spills. My one issue is that the price point seems too steep for only one barstool. Other than that this barstool is functional and I will certainly be purchasing a couple more to complete the set. ... show more

If you are also looking for something like this, this is the one. well packaged. easy to install. great quality. Matches my kitchen. I've been searching for comfortable high quality counter chairs for months. I purchased several different models and have returned all due to various reasons, (typically not pleased with China's quality). While the FUNROLUX model, (also made in China), item is easy to assemble, (13 minutes from opening the package to fully assembled), and it is a unique design, it lacks the comfort I seek. I initially had concerns about the stool being easy to tip over due to its small base however that concern was unwarranted. The stool seems to remain stable and is not prone to tipping over. Having the stool for less than one week, I cannot elaborate on the quality of the plating, (some reviews stated it rusts quickly). I can elaborate on the seat cushion. The total thickness of the seat from the top surface to the metal plate to which it is mounted is 3.0" (76.4mm), thus it appears to be well padded, it is not. Sitting on the seat for more than 5.0 minutes reveals the padding is not a significant portion of the total seat thickness. In fact when pressing my thumb down into the seat's top surface, the padding thickness appears to be less than 0.50", (12.7mm). The seat cover depresses about 0.50" before the hard seat base is felt. After sitting on the stool for several minutes, it begins to feel like a hard wooden board. I contemplated removing the upholstery and adding additional dense foam padding however, for a stool costing $400.00, I should not have to make any modifications to the seat for comfort.
