Assembly was not hard, but pieces are not clearly labeled. One you figure out the first stool the others go together quickly. I needed sturdy seats for larger family members and this is it! Very well made! The price is better than any other stools I found. And I shopped for 6 months before buying these. They are beautiful! They do not look cheap. The seating is comfortably cushioned and easy to clean. My island is 6' long x 3' wide. I have 4 stools along the length and one on the end for a total of 5. I could not fit another one, 5 fits perfectly. Five adults can easily sit to eat without feeling crowded. I love the color, comfort, and affordability of these.
