I noticed the bar stool and read the mix negatives and positives review about this bar stool. But I still dived in and order 2 set for myself to review. After I received the 2 set and put them together, I was impressed how good it look. There were only a tiny small dent defect on one the base but it was barely noticeable. For the price, i wasnt expecting 100% perfect bar stool. I happy with it and recently ordered 2 more set. The 2 set came but sadly one set had puncture seats. I contacted Cavalier Store right away and their customers service was awesome. I sent them picture of the damage seats and they were able to sent me 2 new seats. I wouldn't recommend these for commercial use but for home use its PERFECT.

Stools came covered in rust. Could see all the rust before I even took them out of the box. Returned them. Can’t see they would last long with poor quality.

When I ordered these chairs I was a little skeptical at first, once they arrived I couldn't believe how expensive they looked and how easy it was to put together. Only four parts to put together. I would recommend these to all my friends and family. If you are thinking about purchasing this items, make sure you do it is worth the price. Amazing!!

These bar stools look great even with our ugly counter top. They go high enough for a pub table and low enough for a card table almost. The assembly is ridiculously easy, I literally did it in my recliner, this is something I am a stickler for as well. It is hard to impress me with assembly, these were so easy I thought I forgot something or that they would be unsecure feeling, I assure you they are not. Great product great price I have already recommended them to friends. These are the ones you want.

I would have given five stars, but I'm concerned about the quality long-term. The stools look great! They are easy enough to put together. However, I am concerned about the quality. Example: the collar that covers the post as it goes into the base is purely decorative, and nothing more than plastic painted to look like chrome. The welds look pretty flimsy, and I expect one day that the footrest will break off. But the price is right, and they do look really cool. In my basement they won't get a lot of use. In a bar they wouldn't last a week. Also, the picture here is not accurate. The backs do not have the cutout shown in this picture, and the bottoms are flat, not curved. Doesn't matter to me, but be aware.

Assembly was very easy. Just set the little plastic ring on top of the base and insert the pneumatic support and it solidly stays in place. No twisting or tightening required. Remove that black cap simply by gripping it and giving it a slight twist. It feels like it won’t come off, but with that twist it just pops right off. Then just screw the top half of the support pole to the bottom of the seat using the four bolts making sure the foot rest is facing towards the front of the seat. I used some Locktite here just for forms sake. Then just fit the two halves together and you’re done. Lift the handle and the seat pops up – way up. Sit on it and pull the handle up and the seat goes down. The stools look very nice, the pneumatic system works flawlessly and the seat swivels smoothly. I feel they actually raise up too high and at maximum height they are kind of unsteady. Of course you don’t have to max them out to enjoy them and you probably won’t after playing with them and seeing how high they go. You likely won’t need them that high. There is a slight wobble to them that gets worse the higher you go. Not in the base as that is flat and steady on the floor, but the two piece central support tends to let the chair shift around like it’s leaning one way or the other. Kind of like one of those acrobats on a long flexible pole. That’s an exaggeration, but gives you the idea. To go back to the pneumatic system, it really does seem strong and solid and the seat is comfortable and appears made well enough. I doubt these light weight stools would be good for regular daily use such as at your kitchen bar. I am using them for my game room where they will get limited use sitting in front of some of the games. These stools are very nice for the price, but to repeat, I don’t think they would stand up to frequent daily use as anything more than a temporary solution. If you need a couple of bar stools and you’re on a budget then this is the ticket. Just don’t expect top of the line. I’m rating them pretty good as I got what I expected to get for the low price paid and they work well for my purposes.
