I bought this for my wife as she started baking due to quarantine. The built itself looks cheaper than the name brand and it is lighter also as it only uses plastic housing but for 1/3 of the price, this one comes with a bigger bowl as well as bowl cover that prevents the flour from coming out making it easier to clean. The suction is strong and it never moved out of place while in use. When we purchase this we are thinking that this will only be use for occasional baking while we are in quarantine but my wife's friends started ordering her baked goods then my daughter started selling baked goods also to her friends so this mixer is used at least 3 or 4 times daily with minimum run time of at least 5 minutes per use. We had it on that schedule for about a month but since wife is back in the office, she only use this 2 days a week now but my daughter still use it almost daily just about on everything that is need to be mixed and it is still running as when it was first opened. I cannot compare the performance to another brand as this is our first mixer but we are happy with it and I am sure this will be a good addition to your kitchen. ... show more

I bought one of these for my now fiancee back in 2014-2015. 10 years later it finally gave out after years of heavy use. While we're sad to see it go. We got a very good amount of years with it and I definitely reccomend the product.

Ok, I purchased this specifically to make my handmade products like body butter . Lets just say the size is everything. This holds so much . It does the job . I have a kitchen aid that I bake with and ........... ssssshhhhhhhh don’t tell nobody but I think I’m liking this one better and the cost was amazing . I purchased this a few months ago when this was priced at 99.99 it’s is now 169.99 . The reason I know the new price is because a family member raved about my machine and went to purchase one and bam 💥 !! It’s $70 more 😱. I think you would love this product . It has held up this far hopefully it continues . If it doesn’t , I will update this review . ************************************Update************************************ Whisk broke, I thought I could just come on here for a replacement. I can not find a replacement anywhere. Still waiting on how to get a replacement . Costway does not have a direct number I had to send emails. So the company will not help me. I have had this machine a little over a year and they said they can’t do nothing because I have had the machine over 6 months . I am not asking for anything free I just wanted to purchase a replacement whisk . They said they do not have replacement parts and basically it’s my loss. So please save the headache and purchase from a company that values their customers and know things like this happen and try to rectify the issue . Also, there is no way to call this company we communicated through email with foreign people who only reply at wee hours of the night so there is always a 24-48 delay in responses . ... show more

There is nothing to dislike. I have used it to kneed dough. Made different kinds of bread. Like anything else, take good care of it. Have a place for it to sit. It should last you a long time.

The best things about this mixer are the huge bowl and the price. Make no mistake — this is not a Kitchenaid. It is nowhere near as sturdy or heavy, but it’s great for double or triple batches of lightweight batters. I was hoping it could handle a double batch of my cookie recipe ((I have a cookie business), but even though the bowl is big enough, the motor can’t handle such a thick mixture. ... show more

We love this mixer! We needed a large capacity mixer for make scone dough. This mixer is working perfectly for that. It is easy to use and easy to clean. The built-in splash guard is a real plus. Lastly, the price is hard to beat. *still going strong a year later!
