The nugget ice is soft, crunchy, and perfect for drinks. It is very easy to move around because of the handle, and it doesn't take up too much space on the counter. The self-cleaning feature is also a huge plus. Overall, it works great and keeps us supplied with cold ice all day. Highly recommended

I got this for my mom since she's into ice coffee now and she absolutely loves it. Works better than I expected too. At first I'd turn it off once the bin was full but eventually I just let the machine run all day. It automatically turns off when it detects the ice bin is full and will stop. So I'll constantly have ice all day. My mom is able to fill up 3 iced coffee cups at a time so it's more than sufficient for her needs. It's also fairly quiet with a soft hum. Definitely recommend.

Received this ice maker and was happy but it quickly faded. I unboxed it and let it sit upright for 24 hours before giving it a thorough cleaning and plugging it in. First thing I noticed, ice was not completely solid (hard). Yes it was clear however it did not last long in liquid and it often dropped into the ice bucket in one big perforated piece of ice instead of individual pieces of clear ice as advertised. Once I broke the ice up and put the ice in the freezer the pieces would become solid however the ice would become cloudy and no longer clear. The start of the third week was the beginning of the end. The ice started freezing up into one big solid block in the evaporator and could not drop down into the ice bucket. I would have to turn off the machine for 24 hours in order to melt the ice block and then I would power the machine back on. I would have to do this every other day. While that was going on, the ice maker started making this loud grinding noise. Same procedure as before, power off unit for about 30 minutes and then power back on and then noise would go away but then ice would form into one big block again. The start of the 5th week it no longer worked. All it did was make a really loud grinding noise, never again producing ice. Customer service is located overseas and had no phone # to call. All communication was done via email. They had no solution for the problem but did require me to send in a video in order to verify my complaint. This went back and forth for about 5 days before the refunded me all my monies. At first they offered me a 60% refund and said that I could keep the unit instead of returning it back to China, that they could only give me a full refund after unit was received back in China. $332.00 spent for 5 weeks of use is not a good purchase. Stay away from this unit and this company as I think they are resellers. In the end, they did finally refund all my monies after some back and forth. I would recommend that you send all correspondence through Amazon as they keep records and can see what is going on with you and vendor. Lastly, copy and paste all your response to a Word doc for your record as well.

It’s a good little ice machine. The ice it makes is perfect size, not much noise and doesn’t melt quickly in your drink however the machine doesn’t keep the ice cold and even if it’s fresh and frozen when you transfer it to the freezer it still freezes together into one big block so you can’t use it. Wish I’d have found a machine that keeps the ice in it frozen. You can buy a small refrigerator for the same price so I’m disappointed that this can’t freeze! So I give it no stars for value for money.

This is my first icemaker, and I absolutely love it. They could get someone else to write the users manual, but the machine really is quite intuitive. I love it, and I love the nugget ice. I really wanted to love this counter top ice maker, but it does not live up to my expectations. Pro: nice looking, well made, makes ice quickly. Con: expensive, kind of noisy, can't turn off display without unplugging, does not make individual cubes, but large blocks of cubes that you have to break up before you can put them in a glass. If you only want chunks of ice to put in coolers, this will work well for you. But if you want ice cubes that can be scooped from the machine to a glass, this is a no go (the large chunks of fused ice cubes won't even fit in the scoops). It does have an adjustment designed to control the size of the cubes, but even on the smallest setting, cubes are still fused together and have to be broken up.

I’ve been using the COSTWAY Nugget Ice Maker Countertop at home, and it’s been a great way to keep plenty of nugget ice ready without constantly buying bags from the store. The ice comes out soft and chewable, which is my favorite type for drinks. It starts making ice quickly, and having a full basket ready in a short amount of time has been really convenient when we’re having people over. The ice maker is simple to operate, and the audible full-ice alert lets me know when it’s time to empty the basket. The self-cleaning function is another feature I appreciate because it makes regular maintenance much easier. The handle is also useful when I need to move it from the kitchen counter to another area. The ice has been consistent in size and texture, and the machine has kept up well during gatherings. If you’re a fan of nugget ice, this has been a convenient countertop option that has made it easy to have that soft, chewable ice available whenever I want it.
