This nugget ice maker has been working for me for a while now, and overall I am satisfied with its performance. First and foremost, this machine makes those chewable cubes; it comes in handy in my dorm when I want my drinks cold since it takes so little space in my room. PROS: It produces ice pretty quickly. Usually, I get enough ice cubes for 4 servings in about 20 minutes. It's pretty simple to use; you just plug it in and use it. My personal fav is the self cleaning function, easy to use and clean. CONS: This ice maker generates quite some heat while producing ice cubes. May become an issue for those who use it in rooms without good AC.

Received this ice maker and was happy but it quickly faded. I unboxed it and let it sit upright for 24 hours before giving it a thorough cleaning and plugging it in. First thing I noticed, ice was not completely solid (hard). Yes it was clear however it did not last long in liquid and it often dropped into the ice bucket in one big perforated piece of ice instead of individual pieces of clear ice as advertised. Once I broke the ice up and put the ice in the freezer the pieces would become solid however the ice would become cloudy and no longer clear. The start of the third week was the beginning of the end. The ice started freezing up into one big solid block in the evaporator and could not drop down into the ice bucket. I would have to turn off the machine for 24 hours in order to melt the ice block and then I would power the machine back on. I would have to do this every other day. While that was going on, the ice maker started making this loud grinding noise. Same procedure as before, power off unit for about 30 minutes and then power back on and then noise would go away but then ice would form into one big block again. The start of the 5th week it no longer worked. All it did was make a really loud grinding noise, never again producing ice. Customer service is located overseas and had no phone # to call. All communication was done via email. They had no solution for the problem but did require me to send in a video in order to verify my complaint. This went back and forth for about 5 days before the refunded me all my monies. At first they offered me a 60% refund and said that I could keep the unit instead of returning it back to China, that they could only give me a full refund after unit was received back in China. $332.00 spent for 5 weeks of use is not a good purchase. Stay away from this unit and this company as I think they are resellers. In the end, they did finally refund all my monies after some back and forth. I would recommend that you send all correspondence through Amazon as they keep records and can see what is going on with you and vendor. Lastly, copy and paste all your response to a Word doc for your record as well.

So far this ice maker is great. It makes the ice fast and is quiet. It does alert when full and when it needs more water. The ice lasts pretty long in my Stanley cups and Yeti. It may not be as great if you're using it for a whole family as the amount it holds will probably only fill a couple cups at once.

It’s a good little ice machine. The ice it makes is perfect size, not much noise and doesn’t melt quickly in your drink however the machine doesn’t keep the ice cold and even if it’s fresh and frozen when you transfer it to the freezer it still freezes together into one big block so you can’t use it. Wish I’d have found a machine that keeps the ice in it frozen. You can buy a small refrigerator for the same price so I’m disappointed that this can’t freeze! So I give it no stars for value for money.

Love the ice and it makes a lot. That being said the alarms for full and for add water beep incessantly!! If it's not one it's the other. A few beeps would be sufficient. It's a great machine and makes a ton of ice. But, we have to turn it on and off all the time and there is no way to save accumulated ice. We did try freezing it, but it froze in a big clump. I do love the ice!

Makes ice very quickly, and the nugget ice is soft and chewable with a great texture. Perfect for drinks. The machine looks nice, doesn’t take up much space, and is easy to use. Noise level is acceptable too. Very satisfied so far and definitely a good value for the price. Highly recommend!
