These are great stools for our island. The assembly is really easy with only a few screws and the build quality is great, these feel very stable even with a lot of weight on them. I'm really impressed with the paint finish on these. There have been a few times where stools clanked together or knocked against something where I was sure the paint would be chipped off but I haven't seen any issues with paint scratching or chipping. Stools come assembled and all you need to do is screw 4 screws in to attach the back and the stool part. This makes me happy because not only is it EASY, but its mostly welded together and I don't have to worry about my handyman skills making the stool fall apart when someone sits on it. The butt part is a normal size of a chair, and larger than a stool size. Which I prefer, because I have a dump truck of a booty. While I am sure that some people will say it could be larger, as a woman, size 18, I don't think it's too small for me. The back part doesn't cut into you since the stool part is wide enough. It is hard (because there are no cushions) but that was purposeful on my part because I have pets and hard surfaces are easier to clean. All in all I'm satisfied and would buy again. ... show more

We absolutely love these stools! They are sturdy, comfortable, stylish, AND affordable! All our guests always comment on how much they love them, too! They were easy to assemble, it maybe took 10-15 minutes to put all four together, with a little help from my 3 year old. I love the non marring feet, the dark copper color (the are very dark copper- almost oil rubbed bronze -which is exactly what I was looking for), easy to wipe up, light enough for my little one to pull out yet sturdy enough for him to climb up without fear of tipping, and strong enough for my 300# dad to sit on! They look great with an awesome price point. I really cant think of any negatives. I plan to purchase the matching chairs when my husband is done building our table! ... show more

Love the product...Great price. Would have given 5 stars but there was some cosmetic flaws/damage. I don't think it was from packaging because the packaging was wonderful. I have purchased glass items that were not as well protected as these chairs. Two out of four seats had minor scratches and some chip marks upon unwrapping them. These were easy to assemble. They are absolutely beautifully designed and look good in my kitchen. The cap cover design doesn't leave marks when the chair is moved on floors, which was a main worry I had. I even bought felt pads in case, but they are not needed. Height is prefect for a kitchen island overhang. ... show more

Just got these and were easy to put together; only four screws to add the back of the chair. Came very nicely packaged and in great shape. Def. not “copper” but I knew they were darker from the pictures and other people’s descriptions. I highly recommend to start screwing in one side just enough the hold and then working clockwise around the chair till you end up on the last side. Only screw in enough to hold in place then tighten all the screws. This definitely makes for the easiest assembly because you can pull on the chair back and align all the holes way better! I LOVE that the foot rest bars are welded and that these to not swivel! My old stools had a foot rest that was a screwed in ring and would constantly get loose and the swivel chairs all broke eventually. Ugh. These seem very sturdy and comfy, looking forward to getting a lot of use out of them. I may add a matte protective top coat.... will see! ... show more

SO happy with these chairs! I had 4 different chairs that came with a table that was bought a few years ago. The original chairs that came with my table had soft cushions on top and my cats ripped them apart over the years and they weren't feeling as sturdy (wood). I bought these chairs to replace. The bronze color is a perfect match for the espresso wood grain of my table. You only have to attach the back in the assembly as the rest is already welded and assembled. They looked fine without backs honestly too but I like to lean back so I spent the 5 minutes a piece to put the backs on. So so so happy I bought them and that the color matches my table so perfectly!! These metal chairs already feel way sturdier than my original wooden chairs as well. Highly recommend! ... show more

These seats are a great option for those looking at purchasing counter height chairs. They are sturdy and easy to assemble. They're lightweight but do well to hold heavier set individuals. The seats are definitely on the harder side, which I don't mind, but would suggest investing in some seat cushions if a harder seat will bother you. They're easy to keep clean and haven't marked up my floors. Had some bad luck during transport. It took 16 days to get 2 sets (8 total) of these chairs. Customer service was very responsive compared to other sellers I’ve tried to contact in the past. When items finally arrive it was packaged nicely without any damage. It came with hardware and instructions. Assembling these chairs was too easy. Seems nice and sturdy. Now I can actually lean back a little after a food coma and relax. Goodbye to backless stools. ... show more
