This is a very beautiful piece of furniture I added to my living room. I love the wood look but it is not real wood. The only thing I didn't like about it was the thin strip on the very top, it doesn't stick well and it ripped when the delivery guy bumped into it. I do love the soft closing doors and it makes my room feel finished. The fireplace is fake but it does give off heat and heats up my living room very nicely. I like that it has a remote and buttons on the front of the fireplace.

We wanted to add a fireplace to our home and this was a perfect fit. It came as shown. Quality was really good. It did take 5 hours to put together, but was not complicated. Just took time. All the pieces were easy to maneuver. A drill was very helpful. Looks good. I bought the grey/white one. Would recommend.

I keep my thermostat at 68, but get a little chilly when I'm sitting and crafting, so I told my husband I wanted this. I absolutely love it! I can set the temperature, fan & a timer on the heat output. I can also adjust the flame & brightness of the 'fire'. It makes the room so cozy, without the smoke & mess of a regular fireplace! It heat output is great! When our furnace went out, it kept the room very comfortable on its own. At 63 yrs old, I assembled it myself, it was that easy! Plenty of storage space for my Xbox, satellite TV box, books, cds & dad's. The woodgrain is beautiful and so easy to clean.

So, I grew up with a wood burning fireplace in our home and have always wanted one in my own home. Sadly, this is an old house and I'm not about to tear open walls and bust out brick to put one in. Next best thing? An electric one! I don't usually turn the heat on as my home is warm enough, but I do turn the fireplace on every night after work when I'm snuggled up on the couch with my pup and Netflix and chill (and by chill I mean chilled wine 😜). There may not be the smell or crackling of an actual fireplace, but it has the nostalgia with the very realistic flames. Reminds me of when I was a kid on Christmas morning, waking up to a roaring, crackling, warm fire while my dad and I snuggled on the couch and opened presents. Also, super easy to put together as long as you actually pay attention and look at the pictures. Assembly goes much faster if you use an impact drill, also (as long as you're not watching your favorite show at the same time 😬) This ain't rocket science, ladies and gentlemen. It can be done!

The direction are horrible! Took all day for 2 people to work together for completion. And I’ve purchased do-it-yourself products previously. This was the worse experience I’ve ever had. We both had to turn the pages upside down and different angles to figure out positions for assembly. Manufacturers need to identify “Front “, “Back”, “Top”, “Left” “Right “, and “bottom” on pieces for better understanding and ease of assembly process. Finished product is nice and fireplace is awesome! Love the fact that you have options for fire with heat and temperature PLUS the option to have fire without heat for visual effects. It is quite and has a nicely designed remote control for fireplace settings. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying this due to the frustrations experienced due to VERY POOR guidance from the assembly instructions papers. I won’t be moving it for fear it will fall apart when I attempt to.
