I keep my thermostat at 68, but get a little chilly when I'm sitting and crafting, so I told my husband I wanted this. I absolutely love it! I can set the temperature, fan & a timer on the heat output. I can also adjust the flame & brightness of the 'fire'. It makes the room so cozy, without the smoke & mess of a regular fireplace! It heat output is great! When our furnace went out, it kept the room very comfortable on its own. At 63 yrs old, I assembled it myself, it was that easy! Plenty of storage space for my Xbox, satellite TV box, books, cds & dad's. The woodgrain is beautiful and so easy to clean.

The stand is sturdy and absolutely gorgeous and would, under ordinary circumstances, receive a full five stars. Unfortunately, some problems and inconveniences in assembly lowered that ranking. As in other reviews, not all holes are correctly drilled and some not at all. Parts of the assembly were frustrating and definitely time consuming even with use of an impact drill (which is recommended). At least the assembly instructions were relatively clear relieving some of the issues. Definitely a two person assembly. However, once complete the unit is stunning and a terrific addition to our living room. It is displayed with a 65" tv that it accommodates perfectly.

This is a very beautiful piece of furniture I added to my living room. I love the wood look but it is not real wood. The only thing I didn't like about it was the thin strip on the very top, it doesn't stick well and it ripped when the delivery guy bumped into it. I do love the soft closing doors and it makes my room feel finished. The fireplace is fake but it does give off heat and heats up my living room very nicely. I like that it has a remote and buttons on the front of the fireplace.

So, I grew up with a wood burning fireplace in our home and have always wanted one in my own home. Sadly, this is an old house and I'm not about to tear open walls and bust out brick to put one in. Next best thing? An electric one! I don't usually turn the heat on as my home is warm enough, but I do turn the fireplace on every night after work when I'm snuggled up on the couch with my pup and Netflix and chill (and by chill I mean chilled wine 😜). There may not be the smell or crackling of an actual fireplace, but it has the nostalgia with the very realistic flames. Reminds me of when I was a kid on Christmas morning, waking up to a roaring, crackling, warm fire while my dad and I snuggled on the couch and opened presents. Also, super easy to put together as long as you actually pay attention and look at the pictures. Assembly goes much faster if you use an impact drill, also (as long as you're not watching your favorite show at the same time 😬) This ain't rocket science, ladies and gentlemen. It can be done!

This is exactly what I was looking for!! It fits my space perfectly!. Easy to assemble… the options on flame height… heat output and timer will be convenient for the chilly months ahead. My 55 inch looks great on it… it fills the room without being overbearing. Great purchase… love it. Only issue was that the shipping kinda sucked… but this was from the manufacturer… I had to keep a sharp eye on tracking!!!arrived 10 days late(annoying as hell!!!) but arrived in perfect shape. Other than not receiving instant gratification.. it was well worth the wait. It’s a beautiful piece and I’m really satisfied !
