Love it so far- works as it should. Took me a day to install, and required a vacuum pump, online shutoff, and direct line to a dedicated circuit. Either need to be very handy or willing to hire an electrician and / or HVAC specialist. I did it myself, which saved a lot of money in labor. If you install yourself, you will need to buy $200-$300 worth of materials and equipment (12/2WG-14/2WG wire, AC vacuum pump, AC disconnect, conduit, fittings, and 15A breaker). The instruction book is OK. The install videos from Costway are subpar; YouTube was by far the best resource for instructions. I hope it lives up to my expectations over time. ... show more

So far this has been awesome I set it up in our 2 car garage where a few barn cats live. They have heat now all winter and it is toasty. I got the 110v and 12000 btu garage is 650 sq ft and this is more than enough to heat it up. We are in the PA endless mountains I usually leave it at 60 maybe degrees and it’s plenty warm enough. We have had neg 10 degrees and it runs no issue. I will see how it is next yr and update this review. I have a delta minisplit in my house but this one is better imo. ... show more

    • Over all Efficiency is best for cooling / heating is good but not in Seriously Cold Climate.

Extremely Energy Efficient we found we didn’t have to use our Central Air. Remember these units are using roughly 1200 watts of electricity. Your Central Air unit is using on average of 4500 watts. I cool a modest 1800 sq.ft. Home. And these Cool from an outside temp of say 95°F down to a very comfortable 70°F with ease. I use a second one in my Energy Building to Cool down my Solar Inverter to 60° while it produces 21,565 watts of Solar electricity. Remember these do heat but become ineffective at around 25° F. So generally wouldn’t be a good choice for Cold Climate heat. ... show more

Very quiet unit. You hardly hear it running. I have my own pump and adaptor. So Install was easy. Unit it lighter than expected. Cooling is good. Doesn't blow as hard as a wi down unit. But the alternating lovers are nice. The reason for 4 stars. No instructions for the remote. Some features seem to do nothing. Not sure if it is working but something you dont see. Or if it was for another model. The other reason is I can't get the minisplit to connect to wifi (Starlink mini). Iv ready everything I can find. Changed to 2.4ghz.... but no luck. ... show more

I have installed the air conditioner very nicely, but after running it for about 10 minutes, water starts coming out from the front side — the part where the air blows out. The drainage line is properly installed and working fine, yet water still leaks from the front. I’ve even recorded a video of it; I can send it to you if you’d like. ... show more
