I bought this so I could attach fusible interfacing on the cotton fabric I use to make bags and things. A regular household iron is so small, and it takes forever. I thought about buying one of the big name irons this size but for me was to expensive. This works fabulously for my purposes. There was a short time of experimentation to get what temperature and time to set it for, but was well worth it. Love the heat press, the hat press I haven't mastered as yet. Otherwise gets the job done. I just wish there were a way to purchase other attachments.
