Enjoy the beauty of Majesty Palm Tree, which features solid, green foliage and is fantastic for large spaces. Grow Majesty Palm Tree in bright, indirect sunlight. Water it about once a week with approximately 2-3 cups. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Majesty Palm Tree sit in water or saturated soil. When delivered, it’s about 36-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Majesty Palm Tree arrives in a black, 10-inch grower pot. To help with water drainage, this container does have holes. Majesty Palm Tree is generally a slow grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Majesty Palm Tree outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA Zones 9b-11.Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with the Costa Farms Majesty Palm I received from Amazon. The plant arrived with fungal gnats in the soil, which is unacceptable for a company that claims to provide high-quality plants. Despite my best efforts to treat the infestation and replace the soil, the plant ultimately died due to this and root rot caused by the poorly designed container with inadequate drainage, which I also replaced. I contacted Costa Farms directly, hoping they would stand behind their product and offer some level of support. Unfortunately, they refused to replace the plant or provide any compensation, citing that I was past the refund and return period. This is not the kind of customer service I expect from a reputable company. As a consumer, I expect a certain level of quality and care when purchasing a living product like a plant. Costa Farms failed to meet these expectations, and their refusal to take responsibility for the issue is disappointing. Pros: The plant looked healthy and beautiful when it arrived, and I was initially excited to have it in my home. Cons: 1. Fungal gnats in the soil 2. Poorly designed container with inadequate drainage 3. Root rot caused by the container design 4. Unresponsive and unhelpful customer service from Costa Farms 5. No support or compensation offered despite my efforts. Recommendation: If you're considering purchasing a plant from Costa Farms, I would think twice. The quality of their products and their customer service are not up to par. Look for other companies that prioritize the health and well-being of their plants and provide better support to their customers. Update: I've tried to resolve this issue with Costa Farms directly, but they have refused to take responsibility or offer any assistance. I ordered two Majesty Palms on the same day. One was delayed in arrival by one day. Not sure that the delay affected the palm but the first one was a beautiful and healthy palm. This second one does not seem to be as high of a quality as the first one received. The color did not seem as bright and this one has black spots on the fronds. The packaging is very good and arrived in good condition other than the black spots. I would purchase more plants from Costa Farms in the future. ... show more
